Walking Down the Street with you,
My Meteorologist Girlfriend
I stepped into a sizable one
of this morning's puddles,
and I got so
sopping wet that I
evaporated into the sky
immediately.
Floating above traffic,
I still looked at you,
and I desired to rain
myself over your body,
to fall gently
into your lips.
But looking up at me,
with a reasonable
sparkle in your eyes,
you seemed to be saying
that I only had
a thirty-percent chance.
