December 5th, 2002: South Orange County, California, my night off. I am moving to Freiburg, Germany in 39 days. I don't have a job but I think I have a place to stay and someone to keep me warm at night. There is so much to say but I'll sum it up like this: I woke up April 14, 1999 and realized that this is the only life that I was going to get. That changed me. I went traveling around the US and Canada for 10 weeks, went and lived in Toronto for a summer, writing for the city newspaper and then I got a job working for the television show Bluetorch. I had a wonderful relationship with a young woman from Pennsylvania for nearly two and a half years and we went separate ways earlier in 2002. I went to the Greek Islands for a month in late April/early May of 2002 and fell in love with a beautiful German girl named Assiyeah. She came to visit me in late September and I just came back from visiting her for two weeks in early November. I have one month of work left at a restaurant at the Irvine Spectrum and then I'm off. I plan to sell my car, pack all my stuff into two large bags, four boxes and who knows when I'm coming back, most likely for Xmas 2003. There's a lot I'm leaving out and I'm telling too much about others but here's what is going on. I'm going to start a weekly journal update for friends and family as they try and learn about my experience trying to adjust in Germany. I hope to include pictures and links to things I'm come across but if you're reading this now then all I can say is I appreciate the fact that you're alive and that you may not live how I choose to live but I can still respect you. I'm only asking the same. Well, enough of my imposed philosophies, down below are some short stories I wrote three years ago, some I wrote two years ago and I hope soon to have all three of my novels on this website for people to read. They are relatively unedited but they will be available for reading. That's all for now, I have a busy day of work tomorrow and and and
