DepressedThe seeker walks and watcher waits,
though near they came, now far their fates.
As day is night and fire ash,
it comes to naught though hid or rash.

The piercing winds of midnight came
whose icy tendrils seize and maim.
The sun has left the mind and eye
and left a dark where gales cry.

But dawn returns the rosy light
that shows the world yet blinds the sight.
No light can pierce what vapours wrought;
no sound is heard from hidden thought.

The flash and glitter hold the mind
like hue and touch of peeled rind.
For folded shapes and colourred talks
the seeker waits and watcher walks.

Do you believe in life after death?
Yes. In some form or another.
I try not to: I know if there is a God and Jesus and all that, I'm going straight to hell. If you look at all the things I've done, that's all I deserve.
Jenny, there is hope.
Yeah, but only if you love and you believe. I don't love, I don't love anyone.
Yourself?
Myself? Of course not. No, I don't believe in anything. If you do, then you start hoping. Hope is for suckers. You hope and what do get? A kick in the face. No, the only thing I hope for is that death is the end. Sweet abnegation. Finally I'll have peace.
I guess I picture God like water flowing underground. He's part of each of ours vinyard, he's within each of us. But the water flows under all the vinyards, so that we are within him, we are joined through him. And he's always there, even though you can't see him. When you're thirsty, all you have to do is reach out and he'll provide all you need.
The medication nurse called Jenny away,
How do you that? Why do you run so far from yourself inside your own skull?

'We still haven't demystified consciousness, anymore than they did in Copenhagen. Does our ability to transcend space, time, and probability also transcend science?

'Sometimes pilots and navigators seem to tap a deeper layer. Is this a collective unconsciousness, some elemental power? Or have we found our deity?'
