My Friends - What a motley crew.

Well, it's not as though I don't have any... it's just that, errr ummm... never mind.

These two wonderful women are my friends Sue and Lorna. They're sisters and Lorna (on the left) is the younger of the two. They have been my friends for many years but may not be for much longer if they find out I've put their photo on the 'net. I'm sure they'll forgive me. They almost always find some way to do so, despite incredible odds (eg. having me for a friend).

The photo was taken the day they did their first parachute jump sometime in 1993 (I think).

This perverse looking person, whom I affectionately refer to as "Bishy" or "Bastard! Bastard! Bastard!" is Ian. He was one of my favourite friends until he decided to go and live in London and work in the bond market. I don't really know what the bond market is and all I know is that when he rings me from work he stops to shout quite a lot.

The car he's leaning against is (was?) the Lexen. Designed as a family car, Bishy and I managed to get this car to perform feats beyond what the original designers had intended. However, when Bishy ran into a kangaroo at about 160km/h somewhere out in the country, the car was never the same.

One of my best friends from school was this slightly intimidating guy called Matthew. Obviously he's a Police Officer, as I once was, and he was 'on duty' when this photo was taken.

We don't see a whole hell of a lot of each other nowadays but when we do run into each other things are just as they've always been. Mates. For those of you unfamiliar with this 'Australianism' it means good friends more or less forever. Someone who you can count on when times get tough and someone who counts on you.

The last of my friends on this page (but not least) is Greg who had a band called "The Silver Sufers" before he also went to live in London. I think he went on a kind of a working holiday and he says he'll be back in a couple of years. The last I heard from him he was having a blast! He sent these digicam pics to me from London via email. You've gotta love the 'net!

That's enough? Go somewhere else...
