Ah, music. There are hundreds of styles and everyone (except for mindless trend-followers) has their own specific taste. Well, I too have my faves. They change from time to time. It seems that I am usually in the "mood" for a specific band or a singer for about a year and then I change my favorite again. Sometimes I go back to old favorites & sometimes I latch onto something completely new and foreign to me.  In order for a group to become my favorite, they have to be great live as well as in the studio. A good production team in a studio can make my cat sound like a diva.

I like to think that I have broad musical interests. I've been listening to Ska for about 11 years now. You'll have to forgive me, but I am a big fan of '80s New Wave, Gothic, old Hardcore and Punk. After all, I am a child of the '80s. Due to growing up listening to these influences, it is only natural that I like a good portion of what is out now as well. I hate to categorize music 'cause there is so much good stuff out there that transcends categorization, but if you walk into a music store, you have to know what section to look in.
