VIEW-MASTER personal STEREO
CAMERA, USA c1952
After the success of the VM reels
and viewers - there was a "market demand" for a camera to create
your own stereo VM pictures ! The camera was very popular in America in
the 1950s.
The camera took 69 stereo-pairs
of 12X13 mm frame size on a slides 35mm film. Using a special cutter
you could cut the frames into an empty VM-reel.
Camera spec:
Lenses: anastigmat f 3.5
25mm ; fixed focus ; speeds from B up to 1/100
( Ser# 03460)
The film was wound twice through
the camera while the lenses raised or lower into two positions (depending
on the direction of the film) thus filling the film with pairs of pic.
both in length and in width.
