Hugh Seidman has won three National Endowment for
the Arts Writing fellowships. His first book, Collecting
Evidence, won the Yale Series of Younger Poets prize. He is
the author of three other books of poems: Blood

Have Lives.
He has taught writing at the University of Wisconsin,
Yale University, Columbia University and Wilkes
College.
