I got up with Mike and we got the car to the body shop for its repairs. Later today they called and said that with the $375 we were going to spend to get the two car panels painted that it would probably be more worth our while to just take it to MAACO and get it totally repainted. I think the guy's right because our car's paint is so oxidized, so we'll probably do something like that.
Pauline called this morning and we talked and made up. The first words out of her mouth were,"I'm sorry for that message I left." I laughed and told her,"I deleted it before you got too far because I knew you were upset and would regret stuff." She laughed then, too. I stopped by her place in the afternoon, returned some coffee cups to her and gave her back the key because we discussed the possibility of her watching Bear this weekend for us, if I go to the hospital then, versus sooner. I was very non-plussed about the key, so it took a lot of the charge out of things and we just let it be. She's still a little gunshy, but I told her while we talked at one point that even if we disagreed that I knew we'd eventually work it out and I told her I loved her. I figured that I'd give her today to herself and then stop by tomorrow and check in with her then. I got home though later and the guys had pigged up the kitchen. Russell, oh, my darling piggyboy, had dropped grapes all over the floor and had left them there for squishing by his pregnant mommy's feet. Mike had dumped stuff on the floor and not picked it up either and had not listened to instructions about how to prepare the potatoes. I was just generally grumpy at both of them. And I'm more crampy than I have been. I hate to even speculate that this means something with regards to the baby, so for now, I'm thinking, she's just got the hiccups, get the clothes folded and go to bed. And I refuse to tell Michael unless it gets a more serious tenor to things.
