Tired, oh, so tired...my favorite whine

The baby has been on a nursing marathon. It started Saturday afternoon, right about the time, Mike started holding down food again. He'd woken up in the middle of the night with the runs and by morning, he was vomiting. Bear, not wanting to be left out, started this morning at 3AM with a spectacular full room blag. He showed up at our door crying and then he threw up again.

We tossed towels at him. Mike got him into our bathroom and had him hug the porcelain goddess. I took over and got him showered and his teeth brushed, while Mike worked on cleaning his room. Then we had him get out on the couch because his bed had to dry out. Poor kid kept apologizing. He's funny because he gets really creeped out by bodily function things and always apologizes. He's clearly not in trouble for it(nor has he ever gotten in trouble for it); it's not like he can help it if he gets sick, or really really has to go.

I've had stomach cramps for two days. I'm hoping that that's all I get out of it, but I'm already feeling pretty queasy like yesterday. *sigh*

And on top of all these events, my mother-in-law is arriving at 10AM. We called her and warned her about the stomach bug extravaganza here, but she wants to come anyhow. I'm waiting to get my direct deposit so I can get laundry quarters. We need to do a LOT of laundry.

I know she wants to see Genny, but I wish she'd stay home. We all are feeling under the weather except for Genny. Add to it that Mike and I have had little sleep. Genny wouldn't go down and wouldn't go down last night until she'd nursed every last drop of milk out of my body and she finally passed out at 1AM, but this was after hours of screaming. Then Russell visited us.

Now, my mother-in-law.

Gack.

I may be the puked out-nursed out-undernourished-passed out diabetic mommy at the end of the day.
