Prayers

I feel like I'm praying a lot.

I'm praying for Robin's dad because he has lymphatic cancer and is undergoing chemo and radiation therapy.

I'm praying for a friend and her kids and her soon-to-be ex-husband. I'm praying for her kids to come through it okay and I'm praying for God to give her strength. I'm praying for God to show her nearly ex-hubster to grow up and to not use their kids as a means to "get to" her.

I'm praying for George Bush. I'm praying that most of his ideas don't get through Congress and that he doesn't get to influence the Supreme Court any more conservatively than it already is.

I'm praying for Russell. I'm praying that he gets the therapy he needs so he's not so damned frustrated with the world.

I'm praying for Mike. I'm praying that he gets a good job that he likes and that he actually graduates.

I'm praying for Genevieve. I'm praying she gets over this awful cold very soon and that she learns to fall asleep on her own again.

I'm praying for me. I'm praying for patience with my son, my daughter and my husband. I'm praying for the ability to work in time for myself, so that I can manage my disease better and I can set a good example for my children.
