Kidlets and Kooties

This morning, I mentioned to Mike that Russell had been calling him "Daddy" again. Mike said,"I know" with a smile you couldn't wipe off with a floor buffer on speed.

Genny the Barfbug has officially stopped vomiting. Her grand finale was a extensive all-encompassing puke on our king-sized bed on Saturday night. The good news was that it was on Mike's side of the bed. :)

In other good news, I've got a Kootie-pie for a baby girl. She smiles and giggles and does these little shoulder shrugs. What's sick and wrong about it is that Mike falls for it.

Every.

Single.

Time.

The thing is I was a Daddy's girl. I know her tricks, but I also know it will fall on deaf ears with Mike. I just know the drill too well.

Daddy's Girl

A Short Skit by Genevieve

Gen:
Flirt. Giggle. Smile. Attempt to stick both of my fascinating hands into my mouth at the same time.

Daddy: "Ooooooh, whatta good girl, whatta schweeeeetie pie."

Gen:
Smile some more, shrug shoulders and do that cute little "heh" that he loves so much.

Daddy:
"whatta good baaaaby! Does baby want to play Super Baby?!!" (Places baby's feet on his chest)

Gen:
Smile big with a fleck of drool. "Gah!" Push feet off Daddy's chest to fly above the bed, while bellylaughing.

Daddy:
"Whee! Super Baby to the rescue!"

Gen:
"Hey, thanks, Dad, that was great. Daddy, can I please borrow the car?"

If you have a little girl or ever were one, you know the skit well. If you're the daddy, you'll fall for it eeeeevvvery time.
