The ongoing turmoil and violence in Lebanon has featured prominently in my photojournalism over the past 15 years.

Lebanon is barely 50 kilometres north of Haifa, and the city's major hospital, the Rambam Medical Center, has treated wounded forces, customarily evacuated by helicopter, since 1982.

The photos presented here aim to display the heavy price paid by the citizens of northern Israel, constantly under threat of rocket fire, as well as the daily tension Israeli millitary forces undergo, in an uncompromising effort to protect the civilian population of the north, living in such proximity to the anarchy and terrorism that have characterised Lebanon for decades.
