I created this page for one purpose....AS A WARNING.....
I will probably continue this portion of my dark little corner of the universe long after all of you have been properly warned, but it took an event this cataclysmic to motivate me..... I'll start (and finish for now...) with a review of the movie I saw tonight...
Tonight was opening night for The Crow: City of Angels. I hope that all copies of this movie are destroyed in a mysterious fire before anyone else is scarred. I suggest instead of going to see this movie, you go rent the old one (if you don't own it) and sit in candlelight and cry for Brandon Lee. Better yet, play some violent music and read the graphic novel. Or go kill yourself in a very artistic manner. Anything but subjecting yourself to this shitter.
The only things I can say I liked about the movie were the quick flashes of bondage Etc...(I soon realized I was the one being tortured!) and Iggy Pop's performance. (What can I say, I like Iggy!)
Other than that, It SUCKED!
- The first thing I noticed, is that whoever was in charge of the lighting was determined to burn out the yellow centers in our eyes. It looked like everything was floating in piss.
- Then, we are supposed to believe that this woman They are calling Sarah, is the same sweet little Sarah from The Crow, all grown up. She was beautiful, but not beautiful enough to cover the ruse they pulled.
- Ashe, our newest inductee into undead gothic face-bashing sounded like Antonio Banderas...And his acting wasn't so hot either...The wild eyed look that Brandon Lee pulled off as insanity, appears to be silliness on Ashe.
- Speaking of acting, nobody in this movie was even mediocre. (except Iggy. Iggy was perfect.) The main villian and his psychic consort (sound familiar??) were probably the worst though. Laughable, if it wasn't so pathetic...
- Storyline? Instead of spending $6 to see this movie, watch the first and pretend that Brandon Lee is Antonio What's His Face, The main villian in the last movie is a black man, and the Asian psychic woman is an american psychic woman with no eyes. Then use the money you save for postage for all the hate mail you're going to send to James O'Barr....
- It was a fucking rotten thing to do to millions of goths.
