Lover's Goodbye
Lover's Goodbye
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The burning dagger
The deepening skies
The beating drums
And the tearfilled eyes
The shatterstorm of feelings
The rush of wind flies
Through the lover's heart
Carrying tortured cries
O, I am dead, sweetlove
By murder and treacherous lies
For the sake of a copper
Away from you my spirit flies
Forgive me gentil one
His fading spirit cries
For could I stay
And dry your crying eyes
I would remain by your side
My sweet light from the skies
But They are calling me home
And to say my last goodbyes
O, I am dead, sweetlove
By murder and treacherous lies
For the sake of a single copper
Away from you my spirit flies.
