I am struck by the similarities between the speeches, ideas & analyses of Malcom X and the situation in Palestine.

Unfortunately, the role played by the white, pseudo-liberal Washington government in the racial scenario of 50's & 60's America is played by the UN, by the international community in the current Palestinian situation. While Malcom and the black nationalist movement felt that they had an outlet and alternative in pulling the UN into the African-American struggle for human rights (and for survival) , Palestinians unfortunately have nowhere else to turn on the "legal" and temporal levels.

The PLO/PNA is little more than a "House Negro" organization and regime by Malcom's analysis. It is the only organization with which the international community is willing to deal, probably because of the very fact that PLO/PNA is a House Negro organization-- partial to the imperialists, liberal, and putting their own personal gains (in faux status and wealth) above the overall needs of the Palestinian People and their desperate situation. The PLO/PNA is nothing more than a Muslim Uncle Tom, a token regime, a sell-out & a toy for the imperialist genocide machine. Arafat is less than nothing in the Palestinian situation. He is a ridiculous puppet. He lauds the token gifts of land by the Israeli state as progress-- land without water, without agricultural prospects, without economic promise-- while the bantustan of Gaza Strip has a population of about 400,000, in densities reaching 80,000 humans per square mile-- about 6 times the density of Hong Kong. But even the dead stretches that are now administered by the PLO/PNA will begin to evaporate from Palestinian futures. As the government of Israel begins to supply water to these areas, Arafat will quickly find himself back in Tunis, with Israeli gestapo living in his outrageous palaces, dancing at his offensive, liquor-soaked, whore-house clubs. Arafat and his Uncle Tom consorts are nothing more than a smoke-screen for the imperialists, a way of buying time until the annihilation of Palestine can be successfully completed, right under the smiling, nodding faces of House Negroes like Yasser Arafat.

The international community has proven itself shameful. It has proven that the UN truly is the foreign policy sword of America. It has proven its anti-Muslim sentiment. Even the Muslim nations-- Islam being now the largest religion in the world-- have proven their own sell-out, capitalist, ass-licking politics and positions, yearning to be under the American yoke of domination while that same yoke commits genocide against their Muslim brothers and sisters in the Middle East. How can such things as the ethnocide in Palestine, or the genocide in Iraq, be overlooked by the entirety of Islam? It only further points to the degraded, pathetic state of post-/neo-colonialist governments that rule virtually everywhere-- from China to Egypt to Mexico to America.

The UN has made its decision and has signed the death-warrant for Palestine. They cannot be depended upon. It is time for actual people, not sell-out "leaders" that hold their salaries over the lives of entire nations, to begin to make a difference.
