One point that we think is essential in the understanding of the T&A (!) pairing is the centrality of intution over fabrication in both systems. Unfortunately, too many anarchists have come to forget the value of intuition as they try to formulate and prove anarchy like a chemical compound to be synthesized-- and all of the laughter is gone. ("A Buddha should be known by his laugh!" -- Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, 16th Karmapa, Karma Kugyu Lineage) One of the pivotal points of Anarchism is that the mindset of people must be stimulated to change-- mindsets of self-image, of personal interactions, of relationsahips to teachers, strangers, family, etc. The AIGH believes that the mindset of today's Kapitalist society is a tangible (and therefore subject to destruction!) substance that must be purged-- by a number of means-- before anarchy can inaugurate itself. This mindset fully includes (but is not limited to, certainly) such beliefs as:
+the positive progression of existence, both physically and ontologically
+the progression of science as leading to anything but psychik alienation
+ideas of "other" as real beyond the realm of theoretical, intellectual masturbation
+the codification of conscience
+the concept of competition leading to stratification as positive
Therefore, we take lessons from Taoism as we resist (or disregard) anyone who supports these musty and contrived postulates.As mentioned in the T&A article (re: "posessing the empire") humans are spontaneously and simultaneously one and many. But how can there be a "one" when the actual individual is bound and gagged by death-science or ridiculous laws of logic? And then, how could the "many" prosper if it is but a pile of corpses that don't allow themselves/aren't allowed by others to exist intuitively, naturally, or individually? Putting down the guns of economic and political Kapitalsim is an important and major step. But anarchy necessitates that we take off our uniforms of constricted, constructed reality as well, if anyting is truly to come of our efforts.
