Sitting here, consumed by thought
wishing upon a shooting star that you knew
what your dedication means to my soul
and how much I love you

With each passing day
our joined heartbeats mean more
and I have a future in you
something worth working and fighting for

This world is full of uncertainties
but as you reach over and take my hand,
all the fears and doubts fade away
and deep inside, I know we can.

My dear, before you touched me
I was little more than half a man
wandering round, tracing the circle
leading a life not so grand

With your arms around my waist
I just cant fall
because I've got you and your love
I've got it all.
