true irony

Four 15 years of his life, Mike did nothing but get high. He would do what ever he could get his hands on, mostly stuff like heroin and cocain. He started at age 13 and he went from there living almost everyday in some kind of druged blur. He never found out what love was or any other emotion. He never really even found out who he was. Finally at the age of 29, Mike OD. He was rushed to the hospital by his friends. The doctors did all they could to save him, and they did. When Mike awoke from a comma that he had been in for a week, he was in severe pain. He vowed never to touch another drug as long as he shall live. The doctors assisted him in finding a rehab program to help him cope with finally being sobber. He spent 6 long months in the program, he was released on a bright and sun shiny day. He decided to walk home since the hour was early and the day was so beautiful. The minute that he stepped foot out side he looked at the sky and shouted "It feels so good to finally feel the sun. It feels so good to feel. Thank you God for giving me another chance at life!" He then began to cross the street and in his excitement he had forgoten to make sure that there were no cars coming. Unfortunatlly there was a car coming and Mike was hit.The car was going 45 miles an hour, Mike was hit head on. He died right then and there. Mike never got the chance to exsperiance life sobber. He felt a breif moment of joy but then it was all over.
