CAT NAP

As you sleep, I listen
to your soft exhale.
Intoxicated by your sweet
scent of manliness
and your recent tan; enticed
I climb over to crawl
between your sheets.

There, I cuddle you
like a kitten who
nuzzles from behind.
Brushing my tongue
up and down the back
of your neck, kissing
your ears until impassioned
to bite.
When you turn
to pet my body
stroking my arms and legs,
pulling me closer into
your embrace, I purr
with satisfaction.
