Micki has finally arrived here in Colorado. Her Grandma came out with her to help her with the transition and also so Micki wouldn't feel abandoned by Grandma who has taken care of her for almost the past year and a half.

Micki is doing wonderful! She loves her new room and likes to go in and bounce on the bed. (I hope our neighbors downstairs aren't too bothered by it.) She has some toys that she loves to play with. We get her toys that make noise or light up to give her lots of stimulation. She has a little electronic toy piano that she loves to play with. She presses the keys and puts it up to her ear.

Micki is very happy she always has a smile on her face which always brightens up the room. She will be starting back to preschool real soon. She loves to go to preschool. She gets real excited when she sees the bus coming to pick her up. She will also be going to a day care center to give her more time with regular kids.

Micki is making so many new sounds. We just know that she will be able to start putting some of those sounds together to make words. She is such a trooper. She trys her hardest at EVERYTHING! She does get a little frustrated at not being able to communicate to us what she wants, but all of us do our best.
