Gold Scorpio's Room
Candles set in simple pyramid-shaped holders are set about the
room to create pinpoints of light in the sea of darkness. Red gauze is
draped about the room, casting the light of the candles in red. Pillows
are strewn about the room, shining dully. In one corner of the room is
a massive canopied bed. In the room a bookshelf set next to a huge
empty desk. In the centre of the room is a 12-pointed starburst etched
in gold and silver.

Rhys comes into the room.
Rhys has arrived.
Rhys comes in looking fit to kill someone and slams the door behind him.
Rosuto is seated on the bed, a leg tucked to his chest, resting his chin
on his knee. His amber eyes snap up, widening, then narrowing warily
upon the Zodiac. Silent? You bet he is. All he offers in greeting is a
slight raise of his brows.
Laurel comes into the room.
Laurel has arrived.
Miaka comes into the room.
Miaka has arrived.
Rhys rolls his eyes, lips twitching in a smirk. "Come on, We're getting
you out of here." He says, jerking his head toward the door.
Rhys hasn't seen Laurel...Or....He'd be...backpeddling.
Miaka enters behind Laurel..
Laurel asks "What're you doing?", looking surprised. And yeah, she
heard.
[Rhys]
Where Gawain is the very soul order and control, and Rhys is the
personification of raw chaos. Pale blue eyes are often altered with his
shapeshifting abilities, the color ranging from a shocking blood red to
a intense neon green. His metallic golden hair straigtens the color
turning to a near blood red. Rhys favors faded jeans (all artfully torn
to display long legs to the best advantage), his choices of shirts
ranging any where from oversized business attire to comfortable T's.
The 'London Fog' and calve high suede boots are discarded in favor of a
basic black leather jacket and engineer style boots, both liberally
adorned with heavy steel chains. Each ear bears twelve silver hoops
running the cartiledge to end in what appears to be a tiny charm in the
form of a snake swallowing it's own tail coiled around the inverted A
anarchy symbol. The gold wedding band on his left ring finger is gone,
replaced instead with a silver ring bearing a gape mouthed skull and
cross bones. A thin silver hoop adorns his left eyebrow, a tiny
sapphire winking when it catches the light. Rhys seems to be a creature
of capricious nature; smiling and laughing one moment, jacking someone
against the wall, the next. It's never easy to tell what he might do in
any given situation.
Carrying:
Phone
Rhys clears his throat, casting a sideways glance at Laurel."I'm taking
him back to Yui-sama." He say flatly, his arms folding over his chest.
Rosuto eyes Rhys, looking surprised as well, then gazes past him to the
newly arrived females. His eyes rest on Miaka a moment longer than they
do on Laurel, then return to Rhys, blinking slowly. "Are you?" is all
the Seiryuu seishi offers to this.
"Are you really?" Laurel asks. "You're crazy... if the Seishi don't kill
you, Morgana will..." She grins though, quickly. "I don't suppose I'd
have even the slightest chance of stopping you... and a Seishi. Poor
me, I'm not a fighter at all..."
Miaka says "Rosuto-san.. we've come to take you back.. we can go."
Rhys glances at Rosuto, one brow twitching slightly. . o O(You mean,
besides being screwed, right?) He shrugs like it's no big deal and
clears his throat. "Rhys...." His tongue brushes his lips as he casts a
glance at Laurel, then Miaka. He blinks at Laurel, then nods. "I
am....So...yeah...You don't..." He looks at Miaka, arching a brow, then
at Laurel. "OH...Same idea, eh?" His eyes flicker to Rosuto, one brow
arching. "Well....You coming? Or you find Morgana to your tastes?
Rosuto slides slowly off of the bed. He is, by the way, noticeably
without a shirt, thank you so much Alex. His arms fold over it, peering
between the two Zodiac warily before letting his gaze go back to Miaka.
His frown is dubious, but his comment is directed towards Rhys: "Thank
you, but no. My taste doesn't go towards vultures."
Miaka says "come on.. I told Laurel-san I wouldn't go unless you got
freed.."
Rhys half grins at Rosuto, eyebrows twitching as he quite obviously
checks him out. "Mine, Either...Now come on..I promised Yui and we're
pressing our luck." He glances at Miaka. "Go, I'm taking out...He's
fine."
Laurel shakes her head. "Guess we're going together... Miaka-san doesn't
want to leave without Tomo. Oh man, I'm so dead..." She grins though.
Rosuto's gaze snaps back to Miaka, Rhys's appraising glance unmet, but
noticed. One can tell by the slight tilt of his head in the Zodiac's
direction. He says to the Miko, his tone peculiar, "I see. Well... I'm
certainly not going to argue."
Miaka says "I'm sorry for the trouble Laurel-san.."
Miaka exclaims "I feel really bad about this, so let's go!"
Rhys glances at Laurel, lightly clearing his throat. "You and me, both,
Kid..." He glances back at Rosuto, then nods. "Lets go before the bitch
queen shows up."
Miaka blinks... o.o;;; The Zodiacs don't like Morgana either!?! Woah..

Hall of Silence
This is one of the few relatively normal looking places. Standing
here you can see doorways. Carved on each doorway is a sigil for
twenty-five doorways. Twenty-five? Of course. There is a sigil in
silver for each sign and a sigil in gold for each sign. And the last
door has a twelve-pointed star on it.

Rhys exhales. Man...They caught, their fragged. He glances down the
hallway, then nods gesturing the three to follow. "Laurel, if anyone
shows up...." he glances at Rosuto. "You grab her and make it look like
your hurting her, got me?" He nods at Laurel. " I'll take to my place

Chamber of Stars
You stand in complete darkness, in a night without end.... Yet...
the longer you are here, the more aware you become of the faint glimmer
of stars. Red stars reaching their final days, blue stars pulsating
with the vigor of youth.... middle-aged yellow stars... The stars
seeming to stretch into infinity. Once acclimated to the darkness you
can see the silhouettes of twelve thrones arrayed in a circle about the
room. Only the thrones occupied are 'lit' to show who's sitting there.
Each seat is wrought of gold, with the symbol of one particular zodiac
on the head-rest. The velvet seat and armrests of each seat is of a
colour that corresponds to the element that particular zodiac belongs
to (cyan for air, dark blue for water, red for fire and emerald green
for earth). In the centre of the room there appear to be a pit of
absolute blackness... how odd it seems to have a shadow in the night,
but that's the analogy that comes to mind.

glances sidelong at Laurel: "Of course."
Laurel goes "Uh... bad idea. No one's going to believe I'm forcing

For a moment it seems as if you're walking through a picture
gallery. This place almost puts the funhouse to shame... There are huge
mirrors, wide mirrors, plain mirrors, mirrors that are encrusted with
precious stones... In each mirror is a different scene, a different
locale, all leading someplace... (OOC: You can choose mirror to

Room 602 -- Dai Apartments
A cozy place in most respects, with an L-shaped living room
furnished with simple yet well used and comfortable chairs and a couch,
as well as a long, low table set before the latter. A small kitchenette
takes up the smaller segment right by the entrance, its appearance
immaculate even beyond the ultra-neat manner in which the rest of the
place is kept. Aside from the door to the hallway, only one other
doorway is in evidence, and it would seem apparent that beyond it lies
both bedroom and bathroom, each maintained with an eye for neatness and
efficiency. One might suppose with all this cleanliness and eye for
detail that the apartment might seem rather aloof and sterile, but it
has a lived in quality that seems imbued with as much passionate energy
as its occupant. Everything has it's place, and is well cared for,
suggesting no small amount of time and energy having gone into making
it what it is - a haven for one rather compicated young woman. A
handful of pictures rest in frames that dot the walls, no small number
of them depicting Yui with her friend Miaka, as well as several others
that those familiar with both girls would recognize as long time
friends or relatives.

Rosuto watches with curious silence, approaching Rhys as he indicates

expression unreadable as he raises an eyebrow. Then... whoop, through
the mirror we go.
Miaka looks around the apartment.. "Yui-chan??"
Laurel . o O ( Besides, if the Seishi show up, with me here we might
both live... )
Miaka says "Rosuto-san.. did you want to stay here and wait for
Yui-chan.."
Rhys exhales a nervous little sigh, eyes flickering around the apartment
before glancing back at Laurel....Well, at least with him here, they
would die....He hoped...His eyes flicker between Miaka and Rosuto as he
swallows lightly. "Stay here, until the others get back, Miaka, you
might want to call Andy...."
Rosuto steps through the mirror and looks around the apartment. . o O
( Yui-sama... ) His gaze returns to Miaka after a few moments, dipping
his chin in a slow nod. "Hai... I think.. ne, hai." His brows furrow
uneasily. . o O ( We're out of that place, but I still can't feel
anyone. It feels... off. ) A glance is thrown to Rhys, warily. "Hai.
...eh. Thank you. Both of you."
Miaka bows to Laurel and Rhys.. "... thank you so much... I'll do what I
can to keep you safe from my seishi... "
Laurel nods to Tomo's words. "If you really want to thank us, be careful
when it's time for retribution... the will of Chaos, the will of me and
of Rhys-san here... isn't the same as of Morgana and some of the
others..."
Miaka glomps onto Laurel, "be careful... I need to go find my seishi
now... Tomo-san, are you going to be okay?"
Rhys shifts slightly, giving a faint nod. "Yeah....Just tell, Yui I kept
my promise..." He pauses, then frowns for a moment.." And
tell...Kaisha-san I'm sorry..." He glances at Laurel for a moment, then
sighs. "Yeah....We're..fried..."

Rhys steps back with Laurel, not bothering to answer Tomo's question.

Rosuto picks up the telephone and begins to dial.
You hear the phone ringing at the other end.
The phone is picked up at the far end.
Ayame says "Hai?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto's voice emits from the ear-piece,
sounding dead weary. "Karaino-san."
Ayame very nearly drops the phone. "Good gods," she breathes.
"What the hell are /you/ doing calling me? Aren't you supposed to be
trapped or dead or something?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto smirks faintly, his chuckle tired, but
dry. "Maa... No such luck."
Ayame seems almost on the brink of hysterical laughter. "It's
Hensou," she offers to the rest of the room. "No, what's lucky is that
I don't have to go kill myself trying to save your ass."
Ayame says "Ne, is Miaka with you?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto barks out a sudden hoarse laugh. "That
/is/ lucky. With you on the job for my rescue, I might as well have
taken up residence in that harlot's bedroom." Then he pauses. "No, but
she's out as well. The Zo.." His voice trails off as a wary glance is
thrown to a nearby mirror. "I think she went to find Won-san."
Ayame says "Where are you? In one piece?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto says "Yui-sama's apartment, but she's
not here. As for being in one piece..." He hesitates, and instead of
answering, he asks out of the blue, "... where is Yui-sama?""
Ayame blinks for a moment. "Anyone know where Yui-sama is?" she
asks out loud. "I haven't seen her, Hensou. And I love how you avoided
my question -- did you get your ass kicked, too?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto says "No, I mean..." You can almost
*see* his jaw tightening. "Shut up, Soi. I can't feel her anymore. I
think Morgana did something to- to-" Eh, what do you call it. "-- my
Miko sense." Good enough."
Ayame says "I beg your pardon?"
Ayame says "You let /Morgana/ touch you?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto snaps, "No!" Pause. "That Alex creature
took me out in the Mizuno building. By the time I woke up, I was
already-- whereever the hell they took us."
Ayame says "You're poisoned. You need to talk to Kaisha as soon
as you can."
Ayame says "And don't try to use your powers or touch anyone
while you do it."
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto is silent for a moment, leaning against
the wall, staring at the ceiling for a few long moments. Then,
hoarsely, "Poisoned. Wonderful. No wonder I feel like I'm going to
puke. Where is Kaisha?"
Ayame says "Damned if I know. Off faking his death, I assume.
Wait there, Stefan and I will come get you."
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto blinks at the 'death' comment, raising
an eyebrow, but doesn't otherwise react to it. Mutedly, he cracks, "I'm
not going anywhere."
The bedroom door swings open, a muted thunk marking Yui's bleary eyed
progress out to the living room. Blinking at a familiar and unexpected
voice, she flashes a look of relief, slumping against the door frame,
evidently too sleep dazed to interrupt the phone call.
Ayame laughs devilishly. "You'll need your chi raised after it's
been healed -- I look forward to it. We'll be there as soon as we can.
Jya."
There is a click as the phone at the far end is hung up.
Rosuto hangs up and disconnects the call.
Rosuto looks... bad. His stance reflects weariness that reaches his
face, which is marred by two darkening bruises, one on his brow, the
other at the bridge of his nose. A look of horror flashes across his
face right before he hangs up the phone, wavering there for a moment
before he finally notices your presence. He startles, nearly falling
over. "... Yui-sama-!"
Yui lets out a muttered curse, anger washing the sleep from her mind as
she darts over to lend a shoulder, "Easy there, Rosuto-san. Take it
easy. C'mon, let's get you off your feet." And honestly, though
angered, she's got that mom mode kicking in, eyes scanning quickly to
assess the damage. "Someone is coming to take care of you?"
"You can't be here. I didn't feel you. You can't-- ack." Rosuto's eyes
meet your scrutiny warily, his lips pressed into a tired, thin line. A
delicately-nailed hand lifts to his face, brushing the hair from his
eyes. "... Hai. Soi and Nakago-sama are coming."
Rosuto suddenly draws back sharply, a thought occuring to him belatedly.
His back collides with the wall. "No! Don't touch me. Soi.. Soi said my
chi was poisoned. I don't know what it does to Mikos."
Yui nods, concern dulling the anger. So quickly her emotions change of
late. "We'll get you taken care of, don't worry. Miaka is free as well?
Is... is she alright?" Blinking once again, she lets out another string
of curses. Where /did/ she learn that? "They are /so/ going to pay for
this," she grates out.
"The Suzaku no Miko is safe, Yui-sama," Rosuto says wearily, the irony
not lost on him. It feeds into his voice, adding a touch of dry humour
to it. "Seiryuu take her eyes and.. and.. and silence that damn chatter
of hers. Gods, I've never heard anyone talk so much..." At the
swearing, his eyebrows lift, and he tilts his head to his Miko, smiling
wanly as he sags against the wall. "Tsch. Bad habit, that, ne? Soi'll
wash your mouth out with soap. She does so like mothering things..."
Yui snorts, her current opinion of Ayame obvious enough. "Soi can
outswear me in a heartbeat, Rosuto. What were her words? F*ck off,
Hongo? No, mothering me is not something she'll be doing." Even if it
was, she doesn't sound like she'd let her. "How badly are you hurt
otherwise? And yeah, Miaka can talk up a blue streak. It's an acquired
taste."
Rosuto blinks at Yui sharply, lifting his head. "Nani-? .... Should I
ask? No, I'd better not," he answers for himself quickly, his head
shaking. "A blue streak doesn't begin to describe her, Yui-sama... ne,
I'm fine, I think. My head feels like hell, and I want to throw up, but
I imagine I'll get over it eventually."
Yui gestures to the couch, "Well, I imagine someone's called Kaisha-san
by now. Or will be shortly." She casts a glance toward the bedroom,
"I'd almost hoped they'd both still be here. Ah well." That or her ever
present wolfie companion. Doesn't sound like she's too keen on being
alone nowadays. True or not, she sounds that way.
Rosuto emits a faint, brief version of his amused cackle, pushing
himself off the wall and collapsing on the couch, leaning into its back
with his face tilted towards the ceiling. "Gods, I hope so. Che'...
someone save me from that woman's disgusting touch." He glances at you
through the corners of his eyes, half-narrowed tiredly. "Unguarded,
Miko-sama?"
"At the moment? I suppose it's the equivalent, though Jack is never far
from me nowadays," she offers with a little snort. She offers a wry
smile of apology for the implication of your present condition not
precisely making you the best guard, then shrugs. "Need anything? Tea
or something?"
The Seiryuu Shichiseishi shakes his head slightly, the wan smile
touching his lips again. "No. Thank you, but no." Rosuto blinks after a
moment, foggily, and lifts his head from the back of the couch. "Ano...
I forgot. One of the Zodiacs that helped Yuuki-san and I to escape...
Rhys? I think was his name. He told me to tell you that he kept his
promise."
Yui's brows lift, arms folding over her chest as she leans against the
wall by the phone. "I can only hope it wasn't a clever little trick of
theirs. Kaisha-san trusts him, but I consider him... on probation. He
promised me he would not hurt any of our ranks, and that he would do
what he could to free you and Miaka-chan. Did he seem earnest in it?"
Rosuto smirks faintly, even if it's out of place. "No... I mean... I
believe so. Both of them seemed honest in the escape, but..." He
hesitates, then lets his thin shoulders rise and fall in a brief shrug.
"I also thought that Alex witch was only going to talk to your Suzaku
friend, and look how far that got me, ne?"
Yui scowls, "Alex... tell me, Rosuto-san, who helped? Was Alex part of
that?" Fingers begin to rattle on her upper arms, suppressed irritation
settling to a simmer as she considers the situation. "It's a very good
thing I didn't agree to Rhys' suggestions last night, considering
you're both free now. This smells of rot."
Rosuto moistens his lips slowly, thinking. "What do you mean? Alex...
was the one who hit me, knocked me out, though Raze-san was in the room
as well. She wasn't doing anything though." His head tilts slightly to
the side, amber eyes studying you. "Getting us out... obviously, Rhys.
And... a girl? Young, and foreign at that." His brows draw together.
"Brown hair, blue eyes... I think. Short."
Yui's lips purse as she tries to recall someone to match the
description. "Hmm. Interesting. You know, Rosuto-san, Rhys tried to get
me to consider pulling the Seiryuu from the hostilies, permanently at
first, then temporarily." She doesn't mention what her own suggestion
was.
Rosuto lifts his head from the back of the couch again, supporting it on
his hand, his eyes going briefly to the door. . o O ( Seiryuu bite
their asses off, what's taking those two so long? ) Lips pursing, his
attention returns to Yui a moment later, his chin dipping in a slight
nod. "One less enemy for them, ne? How pleasant. I'm hoping you turned
him down."
Yui snorts, smile returning, though wryly, "Would you expect anything
less of me? Of course I turned them down. This whole circus isn't going
to get anywhere without the Seiryuu around." . o O ( We do the dirty
work after all. ) "Besides, after last night's abortive attempt to
keeper Hotohori-san, I think they're not liking the idea of fighting us
right now."
Rosuto's eyebrows slowly arch on his forehead, nearly vanishing beneath
the ragged curtain of gray-black bangs. "Hai," he says simply, no less
amused, then seems to watch you carefully, curiously. The black web
infecting his chi isn't forgotten, but momentarily set to the side for
now as he catches up on the past few days. "They tried to Keeper
Hotohori?"
"Hai, I can only assume it's what the... thing was," Yui's expression
turns to disgust, then a flicker of triumph flares. "The attempt
failed. Hotohori remains free for now." She flicks a glance toward the
phone, "What is it about the Seiryuu that makes no one punctual?" She
snorts, "Then again, perhaps Karaino-san thinks it justice considering
the way things have been going. Who else can cleanse chi?"
Closing his eyes to lean his head back into the couch, Rosuto breathes
out slowly as he picks through his brain, trying to think. "Saa...
Subaru, of the Byakko, is the only one that comes to my mind. But I'm
not even sure about that." Then his lips curl into a smile that's far
from friendly, his eyes unlidding to stare balefully, but strangely
amusedly at the same time, at the ceiling. "Oh, I'm certain that Soi is
taking her sweet time. She wants to raise my chi, you see, and even if
she doesn't, she's going to let me stew over that idea for as long as
she can."
"Wonderful," Yui comments acidly. "Interesting that she can take such an
energetic interest in demoralizing my seishi amidst the indulgences in
self-pity." Disgusted, that's what she is. "And all because of this
Rhys claims he wants to help up, if on the sly."
Rosuto smirks faintly. "Yui-sama, no matter what her relations are with
the other seishi, Soi would take pleasure in torturing me. And vice
versa." His eyes open fully now, sitting a little straighter, but not
by much. "But indulge me. What trouble did she cause this time?"
Jack lets himself in, without knocking, as usual. He looks a bit
surprised at seeing who's here though. He went out hunting and
missedall the fun again.
Yui flicks a glance toward the door, relief colouring her expression as
she nods to Jack. "It was not her fault, from what I hear, save that
she is stubborn and vengeful as always." Pot. Kettle. Black.
"Apparently Kaisha and Rhys are friends, and the other night a
situation occured that misled her into thinking Rhys was attacking
Kaisha. Kaisha explained, after Rhys fled in the wake of Ayame's anger,
that is was not what it seemed. She seemed to feel he did it to spite
her , purely to hurt her. When I tried to convince her she accused me
of taking the word of a Zodiac over her own seishi - never mind that my
information on those details came from Kaisha himself. Rhys only backed
up Kaisha's innocence. She and are at odds. Quite."
"She does so like that, doesn't she? Pointing fingers, I mean. It's
never her fault, and she's never wrong. Bitch." Following the Miko's
gaze, Rosuto's eyes fall upon Jack, studying him bemusedly for a long
moment before nodding his head in the other seishi's direction.
"Ashitare," he greets mildly, in a tired voice.
Jack moves over to lean against the wall, watching Rosuto as he goes.
His nose wrinkles as he settles. "He smells funny. Have anything to do
with what happened? How'd he get back, anyway?" Yes, he is speaking in
English. He knows Yui can understand him.
Yui eyes Ashitare, "It seems it was a good thing that we refused to
accept the Zodiac traitor's offer after all," she comments to him in
English before glancing back to Rosuto. "If she poisons Nakago-san
against me, things will not bode well for the Seiryuu," she cautions,
returning to Japanese once again. "It is my hope that he will take the
time to ask if he begins to have doubts, rather than fling
accusations."
Rosuto's nose wrinkles as he tries to discern something from the foreign
babble passing between the two and coming up with naught. "Feh," he
mutters sourly, then hesitates, looking at Yui. Quietly, he says, "I
hope so as well, Miko-sama, but... he is very attached to her." . o O
( .... )
Yui nods, fingers taking up their agitated rattle, "Where /are/ they?
Damnit." Joining the wrinkly nose trend, she slides a glance toward the
door, as if expecting the subjects of the moment to come wandering in
at any moment. "Attached is one thing. You can love without being
weakened by it."
Jack frowns a little, listening to the conversation. Fortunately, he
does understand Japanese fairly well. Unfortunately, he doesn't speak
it as well as he understands it. But he does try. "Who try turn Nakago
against you?" he asks in Japanese.
Yui glances to Jack, "No one. Yet. I'm speculating, considering
Karaino-san's mood."
"I wish I knew. Yui-sama, I may have to borrow your toilet soon," Rosuto
comments wanly, his smile faint with humour, but his tone serious. He
doesn't feel well at all. The faint smile turns bitter quickly, his
eyes sliding to the floor. "Nakago-sama doesn't seem to understand
that. Soi claims to, but I doubt she does either."
Yui shakes her head, the rattling of her fingers taking up a rapid pace
to signify her growing irritation. "She is one extreme, he the other.
It's just through the bedroom, should you need it. My home is yours so
long as you need it." She shrugs, looking to Jack, "It seems Rhys did
hold true to his word, my friend. He aided Rosuto-san and Miaka-chan in
their escape. Something smells off though. I do not trust him fully. We
need to test his resolve."
Jack smiles and nods. He switches back to English, since it's easier for
him to talk to Yui that way. As he rubs his hands together, he says,
"I'll be glad to test him."
Rosuto emits a soft laugh, commenting softly, "My, don't let Ayanojou
catch wind of that. Ne..." He hesitates, then rises unsteadily to his
feet, his balance found after a moment or so spent with resting a hand
on the couch to steady him. "I think I'll use that bathroom, thank you.
Excuse me."
Yui chuckles quietly, a wicked tone infecting it, "Without hurting him,
Jack? We need to know..." Her eyes dart over to follow Rosuto's
movements, a flicker of concern breaking through the anger, but it
fades, only adding fuel to her anger. "... We need to know how far he
is willing to go for us. We have something to offer him that Chaos
cannot. Will not. He would be a fool to waste the opportunity. But we
would be that much more foolish to trust him blindly."
Jack's smile becomes a good deal colder. "I'll be glad to test him. Test
him that way. I won't hurt him." His voice becomes as chill as his
smile and his hands curl into fists. "See if he's willing to bring us a
Zodiac. See if he'll bring me Alex." With that, he growls.
Rosuto stays in the bathroom for a while. Not a terribly long while,
since the poison-induced nausea isn't terrible, but long enough to
signify that he's not handling this very well. It's probably a good
thing at that anyway; had he heard Alex's name mentioned, more than a
few choice words, none of them kind, would have been offered to
indicate his opinion of *that* particular Zodiac.
Yui's smile broadens, and it's a flicker of vangeful Yui that comes to
the fore in that expression, eyes glinting with the possibilities
/that/ particular success would provide. "Indeed. I think that would be
an excellent test, Jack." Tone fading toward falsely blithe, she lifts
a hand, fingers splayed as she makes a show of inspecting her nails,
"After all, she and I still have that meeting on the agenda." Wolf and
miko in collusion? It bodes ill for certain Zodiac.
Jack's expression and growl leave little to the imagination of his
opinion of that meeting. "Sure you wanna be there? It might get messy."
His tongue flicks out and runs over his lips as he speaks, almost like
some of the times he licked his chops when he was a wolf.
Rosuto reappears at the entrance to the bedroom a few moments later,
leaning on the doorframe for support. His eyes flicker between seishi
and Miko for a moment, but when he realizes that the conversation's in
English, he pushes off towards the kitchen for a glass of water. He
needs to wash his mouth out.
Yui shoots Jack a look that clearly says she most certainly wants to be
there. "Hai, Jack. I'm afraid I'm feeling in the mood for a return on
what was meted out to those I care about. She stole part of my pack.
She damaged part of my pack. I cannot allow that. Ever again."
Jack nods, smiling coldly. "Just let me know when." His eyes flicker
toward the door and he stiffens slightly. It's become a typical reacton
when someone walks through the hall. With his senses, it's easy to hear
footsteps.
Rosuto is in the kitchen now, washing his mouth out with a glass of
water. He heads back out again with the glass in hand, leaning against
the wall for support as he watches Yui and Ashitare, not taking part in
their conversation since it's in English, but not interrupting either.
For those just entering, he looks... bad. His face looks as if it's
been used as a punching bag, bearing two nasty, darkened bruises, and
his demeaner is just... tired. Those with chi sense would feel
something off with him, the black web of poison over his chi prominent
even with his abilities dormant.
Stefan walks in right behind Ayame, eyes looking around, then focusing
on Rosuto. "We are here, Yui-sama."
Yui pauses in her conversation at Jack's reaction, the moment of harmony
in their intentions still quite intact. She nods to Stefan's greeting,
"Hai, I was beginning to worry. Rosuto-san is in poor shape." Yeah Yui,
you go. State the obvious. Woo. Arms crossed, she leans against the
wall next to Jack, fingers rattling on her upper arms in a seemingly
frequent gesture of her irritation.
Ayanojou walks in behind his cousin, his mind on many things right now.
Seeing Rosuto as he is, he draws in a breath, a worried look settling
itself in his face once more.
Jack relaxes as he sees that the footsteps he heard were just more
Seiryuu. They belong here. No need to be stressed. He actually seems to
be in reasonably good humor, although not neccessarily for a good
reason.
Kaisha follows the others in, head still down, having been utterly
silent the entire way. He takes one look over at the suffereing Rosuto
and his eyes flicker for a moment as he senses rather than sees the
poisonous energies running through him. Lips pressed into a thin line,
that is the only emotion he displays. It's just as well that none
present are empaths or they'd be treated to the wonderful miasma of
darkness coursing through his own heart, just as well that Shun is out
once again.
Stefan looks towards Yui. Strange. There is a hint of annoyance, perhaps
even anger, in his eyes as he looks upon her. "Hai. Chi poisoning seems
to take a lot out of anyone. We had a little run-in with the Zodiac
Seishi while coming here. I apologize for the delay."
Ayanojou's eyes widen at Jack. Big boy there. o.o Well.
Ayame leans against the back wall silently, offering nothing by way of
greeting or any other speech. She's just along for the ride. Or
something.
Yui's brows lift, though not precisely in surprise. The anger she seems
accustomed to of late, the result merely a fueling of her own. "What
happened?"
"Nakago-sama. Ayanojou. Amiboshi." A pause, then, flatly, "Soi." Rosuto
pulls himself off the wall long enough to incline his head to each in
turn, then promptly leans his weight against it again. With Stefan's
comment, a bitter laugh escapes the Seiryuu shichiseishi as he lifts
the glass, commenting dryly, "Oh, how wonderful. Such sociable people,
those Zodiac," before sipping the water.
Stefan goes "We had an interesting... discussion." Yeah. That's it.
"There seems to be more to Gemini than I suspected." Oh.. way more.
He's clearly not satisfied, by the way he talks, looks, everything.
Jack gives a low growl. Any of the Seiryuu running into Zodiac is a
reason for a reaction like that.
"I must admire your new makeup, Tomo," Aya offers brightly. "It brings
out the blackness in your soul."
Stefan looks over to Jack as he hears the growl. "You seem to have done
something unexpected as well."
Yui snorts, "An apt assessment. Jack and I were just discussing him
actually." She shoots Jack a look that suggests their conversation
didn't bode well in some cases for said Zodiac.
Jack nods slightly, encouraging the suggestion that Yui's look offered.
He's keeping mostly quiet, though. He knows most of the people in here
won't understand him very well.
Kaisha doesn't respond, doesn't react. He simply stands there, waiting.
He knows what he's to do here, there's duty and nothing more. Barely
even watching the others, his own eyes lower to the floor and stay
there.
Rosuto's eyes narrow on Ayame, lips curled back in a sneer. "Witch," is
all he offers in response to that before he pulls himself off the wall
again, striding unsteadily back into the kitchen. He needs another
glass of water, the foul taste in his mouth just returned.
Ayame continues to beam at Rosuto, waggling a finger in reprimand.
"Ah-ah-ah. Aya-kun's the witch. I'm the whore. We don't look /that/
much alike, do we?"
Ayanojou puts a face up to his hand. Really, he cares about the darndest
people in the world, doesn't he? He smiles slightly as he sighs.
Worried sick over both of them.
Stefan shoots a look towards Ayame. Damnit, stop the self-degradation.
He reaches to grab her upper arm. "Ayame."
The sound of rushing water accompanies Rosuto's dry remark briefly,
before he turns off the sink and returns with a full glass in hand.
"No. You're right. If someone gives him a yen piece, he doesn't offer
to do a trick for them." Sour mood? Just a tad.
Yui closes her eyes, drawing in a deep, steadying breath, "Alright
everyone, there's enough crap going on here already without this on top
of it. Kaisha-san, are you alright?" She flicks a glance toward the all
too quiet seishi, a brow lifted in an expression marked with renewed
concern.
Ayame bats her eyelashes at Rosuto, ignoring Stefan's hand on her arm.
"I don't know what I'm looking forward to more -- how much you're
dreading that I'll have to boost your chi, or ... well, no, that's
exactly what I'm looking forward to."
Ayanojou doesn't seem to know what one of his cousin's powers seems to
be, as he doesn't react to that remark.
Stefan says "It seems as if you're ready to lower his chi, not boost
it." He pulls Ayame towards him. "Enough of this." He gives a warning
gaze to Rosuto.
Kaisha merely shrugs, but doesn't say a word at Yui's questioning. His
face is a mask of emotionlessness, wrapping himself in a icy wall of
doubts and despair. He gestures to Rosuto to sit down at the couch, lie
down, whichever. The sooner the better, as the process takes an
inordinate amount of time as his method is regrettably not as efficient
as Uruki's.
Ayame shrugs. "You'd know if I drained instead of raised, Stefan. And we
can't allow the Seiryuu to be weak, now can we?"
Rosuto almost chokes on a mouthful of water. He manages to get it down,
but not after a fit of coughing, and then he /glares/ at Ayame. "You
just.." he starts to say, but catches the glance. He eyes Nakago for a
long moment, then averts his gaze, lips pursed. Then, with Amiboshi's
gesture, the Seiryuu illusionist sets his glass down somewhere and
retakes his seat on the couch, eyeing the other seishi warily.
Jack flickers a glance at Yui for just a moment before pushing off the
wall and walking over toward Kaisha. His eyes flicker around to the
others and he gives a soft growl. "No fight. We Yui's pack. We help
him. We stop wasting strength. We _be_ pack."
Ayame spreads her hands in a gesture of helplessness. "You're preaching
to the converted here, Jack."
Yui just watches in silence for a long moment, steady breathing showing
the effort to keep a rein on her temper. Jack is, after all, correct in
his statements. To a point, it seems. Eyes flick toward Ayame at her
comment, face void of reaction. Numb. Easier that way. To Stefan, she
offers an earlier question once more, "What happened earlier?"
Ayanojou blinks and has missed quiiiite a bit, hasn't he? Well, at least
he knows Rosuto is safe and sound now, for the most part. Still... What
they were saying about Ayame.. he knows she's in danger of some form.
He folds his arms, staying all too quiet. Lots to think about.
Stefan says "Kaisha was seemingly attacking the Zodiac Seishi, Alex. I
believe it was because of the capture of Rosuto and Miaka."
Ayame snorts derisively. "If you ask me, it's more because she hurt his
new best friend."
Kaisha settles himself down, getting ready. He pulls his precious flute
out of his coat pocket, hands wrapping themselves around the body
-warmed wood. Taking several deep breaths, he begins to focus himself,
concentrating on his chi and examining Rosuto's. Then still without
saying a word, he raises the instrument to his lips. Lining the blow
hole up to a familiar position, the left arm crosses his chest, the
hand raised near his cheek as the other extends at his right side,
fingers poised. Then one last deep breath, he glances up at Ayame,
then closes his eyes. The mental command forming in his mind, he
releases his chi as gently as one would a bird, freeing it and giving
it flight. Fluttering notes emerge, first softly then rising in volume
as Amiboshi throws himself into his music, becoming one with it as his
chi soars out, first swirling around those in the room before
tightening down, circling and encircling about Rosuto. Those who can
sense it can see the blue aura flaring about the teen, but enfused with
his power, the flute glows brightly as he plays on. Notes dance up and
down the scales, rising then dipping down in rapid succession,
flickering like flames as the chi enters Rosuto, burning, blazing as it
encounters the poisonous counterpart, searing it clean slowly by the
inches. Falling into a trance, his fingers take on a life of their own
as the melody goes on and on. Eventually there is nothing but the music
as he looses himself to the power leaving from him, only the hateful
energies of Morgana's black chi is important. He plays and plays,
ignoring all else for as long as it takes, if he should run out before
he succeeds in wiping it clean, he may not even know it.

Jack just gives Ayame a _look_ at her statement. "You try fight Rosuto.
You try fight Kaisha. You no pack. You need learn!"
"Ashitare, Ayame," Yui calls out gently, voice low and level as
Amiboshi's music fills the room. "Enough. This can wait until after
Rosuto-san has been cared for." Even the consideration of the Zodiac
attack is put aside for the moment, gaze intent on the pair at the
couch.
Stefan quietly watches what Amiboshi's doing, seeing the progress
through his chi sense. His mind is going through other stuff, however;
right now, he needs to calm Ayame down, stop her self-degredation. He
also has to have a word or two with Yui-sama about giving Gemini enough
leverage to make that statement to him.
Once the music begins to play, Rosuto slips his hand into his pocket and
draws out a small clam-shell, holding it in the palm of one hand while
he rests his chin in the other. His eyes flicker from Amiboshi to Shin,
concentrating for a moment, then letting his eyes close. It takes
extreme effort to make the shell's two sides part, but they do, blue
chi flooding out as the Seiryuu Shichiseishi pulls what chi is in
reserve there out as well to join with the chi that laces through his
body. At first glance, as the aura around the illusionist flares, there
seems to be nothing wrong. Then, as the music begins to burn at it, the
infection becomes visible -- an ugly spiderweb of blackness pulls out
visibly, tainting whatever chi that remains blue a deep indigo. When it
burns away, Rosuto releases a faint hiss through his teeth, brows
furrowed. It's an odd sensation, the cleaning away of the blackening
poison, to say the least.
"He hit me first, Jack," Aya says very quietly. "You remember that."
Jack turns and walks over to lean against the wall beside Yui again.
He'll remember what was said, but he has nothing to say in return. Yui
said wait. He knows that means _wait_.
"And, for future reference," Aya murmurs to Stefan, "I've been told that
as long as there is no keeper involved, I can drain all the poisoned
chi away -- and with it, the poison. If I boost the chi again later, it
will be whole and cleansed."
Ayanojou feels much like a fly on the wall. However, this little fly
cares alot about what happens to those in the room. Listening now might
help later, when support is needed.
Stefan nods slightly, pulling Ayame closer. "I trust you to look after
my back if it ever happens, since Morgana would try to poison my chi
first before fighting against me." He whispers, warm gaze to Ayame.
Amiboshi's chi transfers note by note over to Rosuto, as it continues on
the sense of presence that is the flutist slowly drops down, fading,
drifting as it sails over to the other seishi. It clings to the weblike
black chi, searing it away till the normal blue beneath shines forth,
if wanly. He ignores all else, the conversation around him, the
watching eyes, everything. He plays and plays, fingers aching and
shoulders straining, it matters not, the music goes on, carrying his
own life away with it.
Yui's regard softens as she considers the pair, what goes on beyond her
ability to see kept from affecting her concern the way it would did she
realize how deeply this would affect Kaisha. Flicking a questioning
glance toward Stefan, she waits for his gaze to meet hers, should it do
so, the unvoiced question leaving no doubt as to her wondering over how
long this must go on.
Stefan looks over to Yui, feelinger her gaze on him. He has no idea, and
shakes his head slightly to show. Never seen this before. Nope.
When the last of the dark chi is burned away, a golden eye cracks open,
then the other, and the two blink at the young man in front of them.
The nausea fades away, though not the tiredness, as Rosuto reaches
forward a hand towards Amiboshi, his newly-cleansed aura dying down in
face of the boy's continuing, though flickering, brightness. "Ne...
Amiboshi? I think you got it...?"
Ayame watches the chi flows tensely until she pulls away from Stefan
with a near-gasp, lithe strides taking her across the room. "Kaisha,
stop! Dammit, he always goes too far..."
Dimly, somewhere in his mind, Amiboshi senses that the black poisonous
chi is gone, the voices of the others sounding out around him, just
somewhere on the edges of his consciousness..what little there is left
of it. The music soars into a high note, held tremulously as it floats
in a vibronous aria for a moment...simply cuts off. Eyes rolling back
into his head, he doesn't collapse as simply falls over towards the
floor, flute tumbling from stiffening fingers.
Stefan looks slightly startled. Didn't she say yesterday that she wanted
Kai's head on a pike? She says she can't understand him. He's trying to
understand her. He goes over to stand at Ayame's side. "So it seems."
The ringing startles Yui out of her lethargy, but she makes no move to
answer it. In fact, the ringing stops rather suddenly, her hand still
poised over her pocket. Whoever it was didn't want to talk that badly
it seems. Ayame's outburst doesn't help her composure any, and she
moves to join the couch crew, looking to the other woman for whatever
needs to be done to help. "Ayame-san?" At least she knows Aya truly
does still care, and that bolsters her a bit, even as the concern fuels
her own.
Ayanojou blinks... what's going on? o.o He looks over to Kaisha. . o O (
He spent himself. )
Jack moves over along with Yui. He's still standing quietly. From the
looks of things, he might not have to say anything else after all.
Rosuto rises up sharply from the couch as Amiboshi falls over, blinking
rapidly. Oops? Amber eyes narrow on the younger seishi uneasily, glance
back upwards at the other seishi, Miko and Ayanojou, then return to the
fallen fluteplayer again. He even goes so far as to nudge the boy with
his toe, then inch backwards a step. "Oh, hell. What happened?"
Ayame is there to catch Kaisha as he falls, cradling his head in her
arms as she sinks to a seat on the floor. "You'll /never/ learn, will
you?" she mutters more to herself than to anyone else.
Ayanojou's eyes follow his cousin to where she sits. That's Ayame. She
might spit words that are full of venom, but when it comes down to it,
her actions speak trifold, showing her care. His frown softens, as does
his gaze. He's still worried.
Kaisha would probably appreciate knowing that Ayame does still care...if
he were awake to realize it. Cold with shock, he doesn't even twitch,
barely breathing as he lies there on the floor, heartbeat flailing,
flutteringly after such a massive effort.
Stefan watches the two. So she does care. It's not that it's bad, but...
hell, he still dislikes Kaisha. He opens his mouth to say something,
extra control in his voice. "Do what you must, Ayame."
Should Rosuto look guilty? Probably, but he doesn't. He just looks
uneasy, more perplexed over Kaisha's sudden drop than really
distraught. He shies further back a few more steps, folding his arms
uncomfortably over his chest -- for the sake of his sanity, it's going
to be assumed that he found a coat somewhere to cover for his lack of
shirt -- before taking a seat gingerly on the arm of the couch.
"He wouldn't like it, Stefan," Aya says sadly, gentle fingers brushing
Kaisha's hair off his chilling forehead. Poor Aya, still so hurt.
Yui's gaze flicks to Stefan, eyes widening a bit at that statement.
Turning her attention back to Ayame and Kaisha, fingers gripping the
back of the couch as she watches, yet again feeling helpless to do
anything useful for her seishi. "It could save his life?" she asks,
knowing that it could also be just another step back in some ways.
Stefan says "He needs it. And I know that you're going to do it
regardless." He hates this. Hates this so much that he wishes to go to
the CM building right now, blowing away all the Zodiacs so this'll be
over with.
Ayanojou is missing a piece of the puzzle, but that's not important now,
and he'll think about it later. He opens his mouth to say something,
but ends up closing it instead. He looks over to Rosuto, and walks over
to the man, offering a comforting rub on his arm, while returning his
gaze to Ayame. The conversation is starting to perplex him. Just what
do they mean?
Kaisha obviously can't voice his opinion on the matter. He'll just be
limper than a sleeping cat for a good long time. #.#
Rosuto startles at the touch, almost falling off of his perch on the
couch's arm. He blinks upwards at the cranberry-haired magician, then
offers a wan smile, a hand placed over the one on his arm. His gaze
shifts back to Soi and Amiboshi, narrowing curiously. Maybe she'll get
busy with him and forget about him? Maybe? He can hope? o.o;
Ayame shakes her head, though her eyes stay locked on the unconscious
boy in her lap. "I wouldn't if you didn't want me to, Stefan. But he'd
appreciate it more than Tomo would." Uhm, hello, you /aren't/ the only
two people in the room here. "I think he'd hate me all the more if I
did it, though."
Stefan asks "Business before personal matters. That was how I was
trained. Your decision, Ayame." He offers a slight smile. Whoo. Smile.
How long has it been?
Yui pushes back from the couch, arms folding - sans rattling fingers.
With nothing else that she can offer, save an insistance that could
ruin everything, she paces. Besides, Stefan seems to be taking care of
that arguement for the moment, leaving her without the need to say
anything.
Rosuto catches the smile and tries really hard not to be jealous. He
does try. After all, he's got Aya-kun here. But- But- But- Feh. He
sulks anyway. . o O ( ..... )
Ayanojou pikus at Rosuto. Didn't mean to startle you. Heck, he'd glomp
the poor illusionist if the mood wasn't so sombre. He has more class
than that. u.u He is getting the clue that Ayame has some sort of
healing power. Let's see if he follows up... Eh? Rosuto? He tilts his
head, turning his attention to his boyfriend. Hmmmm. It's going to take
a while. He can be patient, though. ^^
Ayame quirks a wry smile, fingers still tangling themselves in blond
hair. "Business. Yes, business. Oh, don't worry, Tomo, I'll get you
later -- you won't be up to strength for far too long without help.
You'll get your ass kicked again."
Rosuto stares flatly at Ayame, glowering. Under his breath, he mutters,
"I didn't get my ass kicked. I got my face kicked. There's a
difference."
Ayame says "Yes, well, welcome to my world. Maybe you'll think about it
feels now before you hit me again."
Stefan nods slightly. Any empath would scream for agony if he or she is
around him right now. "I'll wait for you at your apartment." He gives a
slight bow to Yui. "May I be excused?" Please.
Kaisha is glad he's out cold and can't do something stupid, like open
his mouth and talk. Probably bring up more misunderstandings and the
like. Plenty of time to do that in the morning though. n.-
Yui nods, without hesitation. They'll get that talk over with sooner or
later. "Hai, Stefan-san."
Stefan says "Thank you, Yui-sama." With another glance to Ayame, he
heads out to the door.
Rosuto's lips purse, glancing briefly at Stefan through the corners of
his eyes, then back at Ayame. "...." Fingers tightening briefly over
Ayanojou's hand, then release just as quickly, falling back to rest
over his knee.
Ayame seems to become more aware of her surroundings as she looks up
around the room. Piku. People. Many people. "Yui-sama, I -- doesn't
Kaisha have a room in this building somewhere? Forgive me, but... not
on your living room floor. He would /certainly/ never forgive me that."
Ayanojou moves his hand to Rosuto's shoulder, lightly rubbing it for
comfort and moral support. He's still looking at his cousin though,
worried.
Ayanojou . o O ( ....healing through... ...surely not... ---though I
have read of such. .... .... ....nah. )
Yui clears her throat, nodding, "Hai, he has an apartment. But..." Oh
hell, everyone else uses it. "I'll just take Jack out for a stroll, I
think." She gestures to her room. "I don't know that it's safe at his
place."
Hey, Stefan just walked out, barely restraining his frustration and
pain. What do you think? She's gonna rub Kaisha's tummy and all will be
well?
Ayame smiles wanly. "Not on your bed either, Miko-sama. That's too much
for even me."
Yui lets out a sigh. She understands, after a fashion. Besides, it would
be a little... odd trying to sleep in there after. "Hai, so be it. Do
you need help getting him there?"
Ayame says "I can check the directory if I have to -- I think I can
handle taking him there, as long as no one else sees me."
They'll just figure Kaisha's drunk again. ^^;
Oooh, true. Didn't think of that.
Rosuto inches closer to Ayanojou, as if to place him between the two
Seiryuu Shichiseishi. He watches everyone else warily, though with some
relief. Later means enough time to hide, right? Right. He'll just find
a nice little closet somewhere where the nastybad Zodiacs and icky Soi
can't find him and hide there until his chi comes back on it's own.
There. That works. o.o;;
Yui gestures to Jack, then toward the door, suggesting he make sure
things are clear. "At the very least. Take good care of him, Ayame-san.
Please." She knows she will, but it has to be voiced.
Ayame doesn't even look affronted. She knows what it must look like,
offering her help after all the screaming she's been doing. "Of course,
Miko-sama."
Ayanojou raises a brow at Rosuto. He who is calm and in control is even
showing signs of displeasure lurking on outright fright. Hmmmm....
maybe it is that kind of healing. The whole idea just... Ayanojou
shakes his head. Thinking about your cousin doing that sort of thing
lingers on morbidity. He watches his cousin make her way to the door
and offers, "Take care, Aya-chan... See you later, ne?"
Yui nods, stepping back to settle into her favourite chair, though she
offers one last comment. "I have faith in you." It's a subtle thing,
but what else can she offer in light of all that's gone on lately?
Ayame looks up at Yui sharply at that, slowly getting to her feet and
dragging Kaisha up with her. "You do? Oh." She blinks a few more times,
then quirks a falsely sunshiney smile at her cousin. "'Course,
Aya-kun."
Rosuto is silent, interlacing his fingers together and tucking them
beneath his chin, leaning forward so that his elbows touch his knees.
He watches the exchange between Ayame and Yui, then between Ayame and
Ayanojou, with little more expression than upraised brows drawing down
again and together.
Kaisha would wonder how far Ayame can drag him, if he were awake. ;)
Bets on if he wakes up any soon or not till tomorrow anyone? ^^;
Ayame wouldn't be touching him if he were awake. She'd be gruff and
shouting and threatening if he were awake.
Ayanojou worries about you, Aya-chan. You surely can tell it in his
eyes. Those eyes follow back to Rosuto, same gaze for him. ....what did
they do to him?
Ayame tosses Rosuto a broad wink. "You're next, cutie." With that, she
hoists Kaisha... somehow... no, really, she's buff! ... and heads out.
Ayanojou sweatbeads. It /is/ that... But but.. Aya-chan... His eyes go
all wobbly. Can't you just tell him /how/?
Rosuto's jaw tightens as he glowers after Ayame's retreating figure.
Oblivious to Ayanojou's concerned gaze, he buries his face in one hand,
rubbing before running it upwards, pushing the hair back from his eyes.
"Dragon shit in a burning barrel," he manages to come up with
colorfully, scowling at the carpet.
Ayame steps out of the apartment. /[O]/
Ayame has left.
Kaisha steps out of the apartment. /[O]/
Kaisha has left.
Now that Ayame's gone off to do... whatever she is to do. Ahem. o.o;
Aya-kun leans forward to plant a chaste kiss on the top of Rosuto's
head. "I was worried about you." Duh.
Yui glances between the two remaining houseguests, eyeing her bedroom
with some serious consideration. Then again, she just woke up, but
every time she wakes up something freaky happens. Sleep is good.
Rosuto blinks upwards at Ayanojou, then at Yui, reddening just a tad.
Ahem! Aww, look, Kabuki-boy is blushing. Ain't that cute. The Zodiacs
really did fry his brains! Or maybe it was just waking up alongside
Miaka that did it? "You weren't the only one," is all he offers in
reply, wryly.
Ayanojou binks Rosuto's nose with a finger, as the other man would do
his, normally. "Hai. I'm glad I'm not the only one that worries over
you." ^_~ He holds back an urge to ruffle the man's hair. "It's good to
see you safe." He looks over at the ring.

Rosuto glances upwards at Ayanojou, managing a rueful smile, though not
without a wince. "Watch the bruise..." he mumbles, then hehs, tilting
his head slightly to the side, watching Yui retreat back into her room.
He starts to say something further, but then... the phone rings? "Eh?"
Rosuto answers the call.
You hear a click as the line is established.
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto says "Hongo residence. Demo... this is
Hensou Rosuto."
Miki sounds very concerned. "Rosuto-san? It's Miki. I need to
speak to Yui-san. It's important. Tell her it's about Tenshi."
Ayanojou squeezes your hand. "I'll see you later today.. I have a
research project to work on." Smirk. He stares a bit at you for a long
while. He was so worried, he fainted, you know. Oh wait, you don't.
With a peck to the cheek, he's out the door soon enough. "Jya mata ne."
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto leans against the wall for support,
having risen from the couch to answer the phone. He casts a glance at
Ayanojou, then says into the phone, "Ne, Mickey-kun. Yui-sama is
asleep. Can it wait until morning?"
Ayanojou steps out of the apartment. /[O]/
Ayanojou has left.
Miki frowns. "Um...I'm not sure. I need someone to help me out
down here. I thought she could...but.." He doesn't sound too pleased.
"Any ideas?"
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto says "Considering I don't know the
problem? No. I don't." He sounds... strained. Weary. And that doesn't
bode well for his patience. "I'll tell her you called, ne?"
Miki pauses to calm Tenshi before responding. "Alright. Thanks
anyway...."
(Directed into the phone) Rosuto says "Jyaa ne, Mickey-kun."
Rosuto hangs up and disconnects the call.
