Musei walks along the street a bit absent-mindedly, her thoughts taking
most of her attention.
Rosuto steps out of a nearby shop, hugging a bag to his chest. Also
looking distracted, he steps further out on to the sidewalk,
accidentally colliding with Musei, shoulder bumping shoulder. "Eh?"
Musei stumbles slightly, but retains her balance. If anything dares fall
from that bag, she moves quickly to catch it. She blinkblinks, looking
back to you. Something of the same look she had from last night is
still there. She looks like she's bet everything on a horse, and lost
the race.
Some rather odd things do fall from the bag. Eyeliner, jars of face
makeup, a pair of scissors. Is Rosuto quitting the theatre and becoming
a makeup artist? What Musei doesn't catch, he picks up, muttering an
apology and a thanks before looking up to see who it is. Recognizing
her, he pauses, then blinks. "Oh. Hato-san."
Musei nods to Rosuto, politely. . o O ( Is he going to pray? But I
didn't think Seiryuu's people did that... ) She hands your things back
to you.
Musei signs, [ You okay? ]
"Aah..." With a nod once everything's back in the bag, Rosuto adjusts
his grip and straightens. He frowns at her hands, then at her, a rueful
quirk of his brow accompanying a second, half-muttered apology. "Gomen.
I don't know sign language."
Musei nods and shakes her head at herself. She clears her throat, and
tries to speak, even though last time, you didn't understand her. "H'yu
oh'kay?"
Musei coughs dryly, into a hand.
Rosuto's eyes narrow briefly, then resume their normal widths. He nods
once, a dry smile forming. "Just fine." The brow quirks again. "Are
you?"
Musei shrugs. She offers a slight smile, though.
Musei . o O ( Alright? Sure, I'm juuuust fine. One of my friends is in
danger, because of me. )
Musei . o O ( I'm _peachy_. )
As if reading her thoughts, Rosuto inquires, tone forcibly mild, "And
Touga-san?"
Musei sighs slightly.
Musei retrieves her board from her satchel.
Musei writes on her board, [ I was going to find him, actually. He
wasn't at school, today... of course. ]
"I see." He adjusts his stance, bag shifting to a place underarm. Not
exactly a more stable position than before, but far more comfortable
for the timebeing. Rosuto is quiet for a moment. "Do you think he's
really in danger, Hato-san?"
Musei closes her eyes and nods.
Musei writes on her board, [ I've thought, maybe I should go see
Yoseiko-san and her seishi... Talk to them... It's probably futile,
but... ]
A sigh escapes, and Rosuto looks to the side and down, frowning into his
bag's contents. "He is an idiot." He looks back, realizing she's
writing again. "It's worth a shot?" he offers, trying to be optimistic.
Musei nods..
Musei writes on her board, [ Would you like to go, too, then? ]
Rosuto pauses musingly, brows furrowing. "I... suppose so," he replies
reluctantly. "Although I may worsen the situation."
Musei writes on her board, [ Why is that? ]
Rosuto's lips form a wry, bitter smile. "In the other world, our lands
had their ... differences."
Musei sighs and nods, then writes, [ I've heard. Differences can be an
advantage as well as a disadvantage, though.. and I would hope we can
all be civil. Given the way things are... the way things are turning,
we need to be. Am I wrong? ]
"No, you're very correct. But what the way things need to be and the way
they are can be two different things."
Musei looks to you with a nod. Her eyes show that she knows that, and
knows it very deeply.
Musei writes on her board, [ Either way, we can't very well invite
ourselves over. At least not without a phone call. ]
Musei walks over to a bench and sits down.
Musei looks through her satchel and pulls out something looking between
a laptop and a phone.
Rosuto's lips purse, then form a thin line. Brown-flecked-gold eyes
study you for a moment, then drop to the board, nodding. After a
moment, he joins you on the bench, playing with a bead decorating a
strand of his hair idly. "Any idea where Touga-san might be?" he
queries, casting the laptop-phone-thing an odd look.
Musei writes on her board, [ Not yet... I have extra eyes and ears
looking, though. ]
Musei picks up her TTD phone/keyboard and begins to dial.
Rosuto peers idly at her, wanting to ask, but stays silent as she dials.
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "Yoseiko-san desu ne? It's
Musei. I was wondering if I could come over and talk."
Rosuto tilts his head slightly, looking over her shoulder to watch her
type. He leans back slightly into the bench, still playing with the
bead, attention flickering between the girl and the phone/keyboard.
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "If it's not a problem. It's
about Touga-san. I'm worried. I think we need to talk.. I think there
must be alot of miscommunication somewhere."
Musei . o O ( I can't let him die... )
Musei's eyes look pretty hollow right now.
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "Alright." There's a pause as
Musei looks to Rosuto, then types again, "Is it alright if Hensou-san
comes with me?"
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "Alright. We'll be over soon.
Thank you, Yoseiko-san."
Rosuto sweatbeads. "Ano..." He frowns faintly, blinking once. . o O ( Do
they know that I'm Tomo? )
Rosuto's brown-gold eyes study her curiously. "Yes?"
Musei nodnods.
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "Jya, then."
Musei hangs up and disconnects the call.
Musei puts her things away into her satchel and stands up. She waits for
you.
Rosuto rises to his feet fluidly, back to hugging his back to his chest.
"Lead the way, fair lady," he says with a slight incline of his head,
smiling faintly.
Musei stops momentarily, at a fruit stand, and buys some peaches and
plums.
Musei continues on, one hand holding the bag of fruit and one with the
satchel.
"What are those for?" Rosuto asks, blinking.
Musei smiles slightly. . o O ( You'll see, soon enough. ) ^^;
You are now following Musei.
Rosuto arches an eyebrow to himself as he recieves only the slight
smile. "...." Looking curious, and maybe a little miffed that he's not
included in the secret, he keeps pace with her briskly.
Musei heads west. /[W]/

Musei stops at her own house, and pushes a few buttons. A voice comes
out, "Musei-sama?" She signs something into the camera, and the voice
answers, "Alright. I'll bring him out... Is everything okay?" Musei
smiles slightly, not answering.
Rosuto imagines that he must have ditched his bag somewhere. Maybe they
passed by the theatre and he dropped it off there. In any case, by the
time they got here, he's no longer holding it, his aching arms folded
over his chest.
Soon, a maid arrives at the gate of Musei's house, carrying a cockatoo,
that peers about, making a few noises. She hands the bird over to
Musei, smiling. "Taking Yuki-chan for a walk, ne?" Musei nods, it's
true, somewhat. The maid smiles and returns to the house.
Rosuto peers at the bird, then at Musei quizzically. "Should I ask?"
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I have a way with animals."
Musei pets the bird's head, and looks over to her next door neighbor's.
Rosuto blinks slowly and arches an eyebrow, brown-gold eyes focused on
the bird. "A.. Aa."
Musei . o O ( Thank you for doing this, my friend. )
Yuki-chan bobs his head a bit, eyeing the bag in Musei's hand. She looks
to the bird and raises a brow, . o O ( Afterwards... I promise. )
Yuki-chan says, "Aww! o/~"
Despite himself, a corner of Rosuto's lips twitches. "Now the fruits
make sense."
Musei nods.

First Floor -- Morino Residence
The entryway here is narrow. Large painted vases are interspaced
between places to put shoes, an end table for loose keys and mail, and
a tall, brass coat rack. The vases are filled with artifically colored
ostrich feathers in black and white. A wide hallway done in black and
white runs in two directions after leading out, in T shape, from the
entryway.
To the east is the large living room done similarly in back and
white. There's a single sofa done in a pristine white, and, before it,
is set an antique coffee table with artfully arranged, glossy magazines
and a sparkling crystal candy dish (empty, of course). The rest of the
living room is filled with straight backed chairs. All are tall and
darkly stained cherry wood. Each looks just as uncomfortable as the
last, despite the soft, pale pink seat cushions. Up against the walls
are tall bookshelves, towering above the room, and stuffed full of
thick, dusty looking volumes as well as various useless knick knacks.
You'll also note, snuggled in on one of the shelves, is a smallish
black and white Tv, the screen no bigger than ten inches. But then
again, who'd want one of those ugly old big screen Tvs cluttering up
the place.
To the west is the dining area. The walls there are a dark oak
paneling and hold tastefuls paintings of ponds and the ocean. There's a
china cabinet against one wall of this fairly large room holding old
and no doubt priceless pieces of china and crystal. In the center of
the room is a massively long oak table with ten high backed, sturdy
looking oak chairs for company. This is of the more tasteful rooms in
the house. Beyond the dining area is the highly up to date kitchen,
holding everything from state of the art cookware to industrial sized
ovens for those really big, and often held, black tie affairs.

Musei bows slightly. Her cockatoo is sitting on her shoulder.
Rosuto stands behind Musei, peering around curiously. Seeing her bow, he
echoes her movements politely, then folds his hand behind his back
silently.
Kan'ichi has a stony expression on his face. Maybe he's not looking
forward to this discussion? n.n;
Ikoro is sitting in one of the straightbacked chairs. Sure, he'd usually
be standing, but looming makes people uncomfortable. He looks
reasonably passive, though his eyes keep flicking to the guestroom
door.
Kan'ichi looks at Rosuto, and recognition crosses his face briefly
before his face reverts to expressionlessness. . o O (Ah. *That*
Seiryuu. The one I saw with Touga. The one talking about virgins.)
Musei glances about, rather apologetically...
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I don't know quite what to say, to
start out with... Except... why do you want to kill Touga-san? o/~"
The bird says this, then looks to Musei, who looks back, . o O ( Later!
I promise! Please, this is important! )
Yoseiko jumps a little from her players idle and moves back to the
living room to seat herself on the couch again.. after gesturing for
the guests to be seated..
Kan'ichi looks oddly at the cockatoo... then again, he's seen wierder
things. "Did Touga tell you we intended to kill him?"
Rosuto's brown-gold eyes focus on the bird a little bemusedly, then
shift to take in all the faces, memorizing them. Idly, he unfolds a
hand from behind his back, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. For
now, the term 'silence is golden' seems to be his motto.
Musei nods, frowning.
Yoseiko blinks, looking at Kan'ichi.. o.o;
Kan'ichi asks "Did he also tell you what he intends to do, to our Gods?"
Musei looks back, and blinks. "?"
Kan'ichi shrugs. "We haven't agreed on violence. Perhaps you should ask
him what he'd be willing to do to our Gods? Maybe you'll kill him
yourself."
Musei's eyes widen.. . o O ( What?! )
Musei looks deeply disturbed, of course. She pets her bird for comfort,
before calming herself. . o O ( Have more faith. )
Yoseiko moves out a hand to touch to Kan'ichi's arm, wincing alittle for
Musei.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I really hope this is all just
miscommunication. From what I know of Touga-san, he could very well
have said such to throw people off... o/~"
Kan'ichi isn't unsympathetic to Musei, but he isn't about to let
sentimentality get in the way of what has to be done...
Kan'ichi looks unethusiastic and goes "Perhaps... I intend to ask him
directly, when I get the chance. -_-"
Kan'ichi . o O ( Speaking to Morgana and Yukie though? I don't think so. )
Musei . o O ( I have to talk to him, and prevent all of this. Somehow. )
Musei sighs and nods.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I understand. Believe me, I intend to
talk to him, as well. o/~"
Yuki chirps up, "PLUM!!!! o/~"
Musei x.x at her bird and nods... . o O ( Okay okay... )
Kan'ichi goes "He may intend to join them, Musei-san..."
Kan'ichi . o O ( May? That's an understatement, even for me... )
Rosuto, still silent, sweatbeads. . o O ( That was... interesting. )
Clearing his throat, the Seiryuu seishi finally speaks, his tone low
and mild. "And he may not. Point?"
Musei . o O ( ..Not if I can help it... not after what Zhiangpu said. )
Kan'ichi nods. "Point taken. What's your involvement in this, Seiryuu?"
Rosuto fingers a bead strung through his hair idly, tilting his head
slightly in Kan'ichi's direction. A faint smile pricks the corners of
his lips. "I'm a concerned friend."
Musei takes out a plum from a grocer's sack, and feeds it to her bird.
x.x
Kan'ichi asks "Can you direct us to him, Musei-san? We can determine the
truth together if you like."
Musei waits for her bird to finish eating...
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " He wasn't at school, today. I haven't
called his apartment, though. o/~"
Kan'ichi says "Perhaps you should, then."
Musei nods. She blinks a moment.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " Can I set my bird down, please? o/~"
Ikoro has disconnected.
Rosuto interlaces his fingers, his gaze flickering between Genbu and
Byakko. "I'll hold it," he offers, indicating the bird with a slight
nod.
Yoseiko . o O ( Mother will have a fit if it makes a mess on the floor.
o.o )
Yoseiko grins faintly at her thought, then smothers it. o.o;
Musei puts a hand to her shoulder, and takes Yuki-chan in hand. . o O (
You better behave, or no fruit for you! ) She hands the bird over, who
gives out a chukle.
Musei retrieves her phone from her satchel.
Musei picks up her TTD phone/keyboard and begins to dial.
Rosuto squints at the bird now that he's holding it, arching an eyebrow.
"Behave, or I'll pluck your eyes out," he informs it drolly. Never mind
its owner is only a few feet away.
Yoseiko frowns at Rosto in her quiet kind of mild disaproval. o O ( How
cruel. )
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "Touga-san. It's Musei.
Kan'ichi, Rosuto, and myself would like to talk with you. I think
there's been alot of miscommunication about, and we need to present
everything on the table. You won't be harmed, if I can help it. I think
the truth is what is needed to soothe this conflict. Where would you
like to meet?"
Musei . o O ( You heard Rosuto. Behave. He meant what he said. )
The bird ducks his head and sweatbeads.
Musei looks to the others.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " He offers to meet at his place. Is that
alright? o/~"
Kan'ichi shrugs.
Kan'ichi . o O ( Place won't matter... )
Yoseiko looks to Kan'ichi and then back to Musei. It's a given really.
She'll be following unless told to stay behind.
(Directed into the phone) Musei types out, "That will do... We'll be
there shortly."
Musei puts her phone away, and stands up, holding her hand out for Yuki.
Rosuto squints at the bird again as it speaks, musing. Then he places
the bird back on Musei's outstretched hand, nodding his head slightly
to himself.
Musei sets Yuki-chan on her shoulder, and feeds the rest of the plum to
him.
Kan'ichi . o O ( That bird would have been... interesting as part of the
pirate costume... )
Musei looks to the others, waiting. . o O ( Touga-san... You had better
have a good explanation for this. )
Rosuto dusts his clothing clean of imaginary dust as he rises back to
his feet, then gives his hands a critical glance. After a moment, he
nods in Musei's direction, tucking his hands into his pockets.

Kiryuu Apaato -- Koei Building
The deeply stained cherrywood floor greets your feet, especially
if they're bare, as you walk into the main room of Touga and Ayanojou's
apartment. The room is quite open, the furniture mainly consisting of
large leather beanbags and short end tables. A short wooden coffee
table centers the room, panels which open to reveal a gaming board,
ready to play all sorts of traditional games. The kitchenette is set
tidy, black plates and cups decorating the walls. A tiny dining table
splits the kitchenette from the main room, a vase of fresh red roses
giving a gentle feel to the room.
Two fencing swords cross in an X over the small gas fireplace.
Sitting on the hearth is a small bowl of rose petals, that lilt and
lift slightly when a breeze is let through. In one corner of the main
room stands a shrine of come sort, a wallhanging with a pentacle
standing guard over it. The opposite corner holds the entertainment
center, which is the latest in Japanese technology. If one should look
through the CD tower, they'd find musicians like X Japan, Yohko Kano,
and Andy Won (for make-out music).

Yoseiko comes in through the main entrance.
Yoseiko has arrived.
Musei pikus... Her bird is standing on her shoulder.
Touga starts as the phone rings.
Touga smiles. "Excuse me, the phone is ringing."
Touga answers the call to the Cellular.
(Directed into the phone) Touga says "Hello, this is Kiryuu Touga."
Rosuto steps in quietly, glancing around the familiar surroundings.
Shedding his shoes, he shies instinctively towards the side, gaze
flickering over each face.
Ayanojou sweatbeads. This day is turning out so weird. He's still
holding that duck wand, too.
Ayanojou asks "Anyone up for tea?"
Kan'ichi stands still, just inside the doorway. Not hostile, just...
ready.
Ayanojou sets his hat down, on a side table.
(Directed into the phone) Touga says "Yes, how nice to hear from you. I
have visitors right now. They wish to speak with me of a matter of some
importance."
Touga is holding his sword and he sheaths it, but keeps a hand on it,
just in case.
[Ayanojou]
Cranberry locks feather to frame the face of the young man before
you. His emerald eyes gaze with a tired intensity back to you, set
within generous eyelashes. His hair neatly comes down to the middle of
his back, the sides cropped and feathered slightly. His skin is an even
tone, though a bit on the lighter shade, soft and feminine. A sharp
straight nose leads to a small thin mouth, his chin coming to a gentle
point. On his ears, he wears golden double crescent earrings.
Ayanojou dons his magician's uniform. It's design would be
construed as silly, but he manages to pull the outfit off, in style.
Not literally, don't worry. ^_~ He wears a leotard, of sorts, that
comes down to his thighs, like shorts. It's black, with white stripes
down the undersides of his arms and the sides of his torso, then forms
the shorts, secured by a belt with a jeweled eye for it's buckle. The
colar comes out and points sharply, the shoulders cut bare. Over this,
he wears over this, a poncho of sorts, black with a grey circle and
six-sided star. Within the star is the symbol for Uranus. (Stop
laughing!) Ayanojou wears thigh-high black boots, double decked out, it
seems, as they have collars around the ankles. The outfit is completed
with a long brimmed witch's hat, a white saucer of material tilting
about halfway up the pipe.
(Directed into the phone) Touga says "Yes. Well, one fo them at least."
Yoseiko keeps inbehind Kan'ichi, where's safe, to be sure. o.o;
Touga smiles and motions for his guests to sit while he finishes his
phone call.
Musei . o O ( Laurel-chan...? )
Rosuto's glance around stops when it falls on Ayanojou. He blinks,
slowly, and arches an eyebrow. Arms folding over his chest, he thinks .
o O ( Now /that's/... interesting. )
(Directed into the phone) Touga says "Well then, I guess we can arrange
th purchase of that couch later. I'm rather sick of these beanbags.
Perhaps after my friends leave then. Thank you."
Touga hangs up the phone and turns to face his guests.
Touga hangs up and disconnects the call.
Ayanojou tucks away a stray lock of hair and nods, "Please do have a
seat..." He blinks to Touga, then looks back again. "I'll go make some
tea."
Musei . o O ( It must have been Laurel.. )
Touga asks "So, I guess you are all here to discuss my actions and words
last night. I assume Yukie-san told you all I said?"
Kan'ichi goes "Some, yes... We thought we'd hear it from you though."
Musei glances to Kan'ichi, then back to Touga.
Touga nods. "Then ask me anything."
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " What did you say about our gods,
Touga-san? o/~"
Ayanojou o.o . o O ( That bird again. ) x.x
Touga nods. "I said I wished they had never existed as all they seem to
do is cause you pain and suffering.
Touga says "You know my views Musei-san."
Kan'ichi . o O ( Oh... the sorceror. Stick around. You just might see
real magic. )
Rosuto doesn't move from his spot by the wall, his gaze shifting away
from Ayanojou's attire to focus on Touga as he speaks, lips pursed.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " Byakko-sama doesn't cause me pain. o/~"
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " If it weren't for Byakko-sama, and the
others, this world might not even exist. o/~"
Touga says "So you have said before. Pardon me if I don't totally acceot
your words at face value. I have been told such things by others in the
past and foudn them to be false."
Ayanojou fixes some tea, in the kitchen, overhearing and blinking. . o O
( It's a good thing Aya-chan isn't here. )
Kan'ichi asks "Oh? You believe the Zodiacs then?"
Touga says "Not completely but I agree with much that I have heard from
them."
"What part do you agree with, Kiryuu-san?" intercedes Rosuto's voice
quietly, his expression unreadable.
Musei pages: And emotions? ^^;
Ayanojou comes out with tea, and hands our cups to everyone. He glances
about, before taking a seat, and crossing his legs.
You paged Musei with 'Uncertainty and bitterness. He doesn't want
to be here, but at the same time doesn't want to leave. A sense
of conflict -- loyalty to a friend and trust, and loyalty to
Seiryuu and his cause. Anger dominating slowly, held back only by
the wish to remain nuetral.'.
48.6F (9.2C) The clouds appear to be just sitting there. It is currently overcast with the winds remaining steady (SSE).
Touga asks "I agree that the seishi of teh four gods are unfortunate
servants, forced to play the same roles unceasingly through the ages,
never given rest, never given release. They die only to be brought back
in the future, two lives conflicting. They are never able to live
entirely in the here and now because of things left over from the life
before and never able to live in the past again because of their lives
now. It's a cruel way for a deity who loves his people to treat them.
Why must he use the same souls over and over and over again in his own
defense? Why must he ruin their lives over and over. I know you are
going to say that your gods are lovbing protectors of their lands but I
do not see why they are involved in Tokyo now, these are not their
lands or their place."
Kan'ichi says "They are involved here because the threat is to both
worlds. Your precious Zodiacs threaten entire worlds, not just people."
Touga asks "How?"
Kan'ichi goes "We're trying to find out how... but we can't wait for
it."
Touga asks "Then how do you know they are a threat?"
Musei bites the inside of her lip. . o O ( Yin/yang... )
Kan'ichi grins, entirely without warmth. "Call it a warning from the
Gods."
Touga asks "And if I think your gods are lying to you to protect
themselves?"
Kan'ichi shrugs. "If my God is threatened, I will fight for him however
I can. My God or my people, the result is the same."
Touga asks "Well I am no threat, that is sure. How can I hurt a /god/?
Can the ant kill a man or a man kill a mountain? I do not think so."
Musei . o O ( Byakko-sama... what do I do? )
Rosuto muses. "But if you step in the anthill, you'll lose your foot.
Attack the web and you'll kill the spider. Find a better metaphor,
Touga-san."
Kan'ichi says "One person's actions can make a difference. If you seek
harm towards us, We'll stop you. I'll stop you."
Touga asks "Oh really? And if I feel that I must stand up for what I
believe?"
Kan'ichi says "Then you're opposed to us.", flatly.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " Touga-san... do you mean harm to our
gods? Yes or no? o/~"
Musei . o O ( Please say no... and please mean it. )
Yoseiko hovers in the background of all this.. silent. She doesn't
handle confrontation well.
Musei gives a pleading look to Touga.
Touga 's hand tightens it's grip on his sword. "No I do not mean to harm
your gods, would that I could to show you that you are all being used
to your deaths."
Kan'ichi goes "Used to our deaths? And beyond... And it's worth it."
Touga snorts. "I guess to you it might be, but I would prefer to choose
what i do with my life."
"This may be the reason why /you/ are not a seishi then," Rosuto
comments dryly, eyes aflicker.
Kan'ichi goes "Then choose... move against us though, and I will strike
you down. And next time, I won't wait to hear your motives first... You
might not even see me. Unless you'd prefer to make the first move, of
course..."
Touga almost draws his sword. "Don't tempt me, if I have to fight for
what I believe, I will."
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I think we should remain civil. I came
here to talk, not to fight. o/~"
Musei . o O ( I hate fighting. )
Yoseiko agrees with Musei.. o.o; But doesn't voice it. Fat lot of good
it would do.
Kan'ichi says "Your move, Touga-san. If you know you're going to be our
enemy, better strike now while the move is yours. You won't be able to
ambush me."
Kan'ichi steps forward about half a pace, and takes up a stance, arms
folded casually.
Touga smiles darkly. "And if I told you I believe that you are a foolish
puppet?"
Ayanojou . o O ( Does he have a deathwish? )
Kan'ichi says "I care little for your beliefs. Only your deeds."
Rosuto's gaze centers on Touga-san quietly, his arms tightening
slightly. A hand unlocks, scratching at his chin idly with a long
fingernail. . o O ( If he attacks, then he's admitting that he's the
enemy. Would it be in my place to step in if it came down to it, then?
Mmm... )
Musei gives a worried look to Touga.
Touga takes his sword off and drops it, the scabbard sliding off the
blade, the hilt still in his hand. The bladeis facing the ground. "So,
do you consider me an enemy? What did Yukie-san tell you last night?"
Musei . o O ( He.... he's not... )
Yoseiko presses a fist up against her chin. o O ( Not good. Really not
good. x.x )
There's a sudden shriek from outside, and a burst of dark chi.
Musei gets up at the shriek. "?!"
Rosuto's eyes snap towards the door, widening, then narrowing. "What by
Seiryuu's..." he hisses softly.
Musei calms her bird and looks out the door.
Musei goes out the front door. /[O]/
Musei has left.
Touga asks "I take it those are your friends outside, waiting to kill
me?"
Rosuto's eyes narrow at the door, watching Musei dart to the door. His
lips form a frown, then a flat line, his gaze shifting back to the
confrontation at hand, debating.
Kan'ichi goes "More like your new friends... None of my friends need
interfere."
Touga exclaims "Ha! The Chaos seishi rejected me! I have nothing left
but Musei-san! And I have but one question for you, are you challenging
me to a fight?"
Kan'ichi shakes his head, almost sadly. "I am not challenging you. As I
said before, your words mean little. I will judge you by your actions.
We of Genbu don't tend to take the first move... we prefer to have the
last."
Touga dropped Touga's Epee.
Touga drops his sword with a clatter and storms past the seishi.
"Coward," he mutter under his breath, whether it is to you or to
himself you can't tell.
If Kan'ichi takes your words to be directed to himself, he doesn't show
it. He doesn't turn as you pass him either... offering you a beautiful
opportunity to blindside him if you're so inclined.
Rosuto pinches the bridge of his nose between forefinger and thumb,
wincing faintly at the clatter of the sword hitting the ground. . o O (
I may not be a swordsman, but yeesh. That can't be good for the
sword. ) Peeking through his fingers, he watches Touga move past
wordlessly.
Kan'ichi . o O ( One move... even *think* about harming Yoseiko... )
Musei comes in through the main entrance.
Musei has arrived.
Touga turns sharply and punches Kan-ichi, hitting him as hard as he can.
"If you don't kill me, THEY will! I know too much and they'll come for
me if I don't die in a fight! Please don't hate me for this but I have
to! I had no intention of fighting you, I thought you would just kill
me outright after what Yukie undoubtedly told you. Dammit, I can't even
get myself killed right!"
Musei comes back in to get a chair and... sees... that.
Musei . o O ( BAKA!!! )
Yuki chimes in Musei's thoughts, "Ba-ka! o/~"
Musei glares at the bird for a split second.
Rosuto's hand falls from his face, loosely to his side, his eyes growing
wide and his jaw dropping. . o O ( ..... )
Kan'ichi has been watching Touga with chi-sense... the warning he gets
from Touga's focussed intent allows him to roll with the blow, though
not avoid it entirely. He spins around, facing Touga, though doesn't
strike quite yet.
Touga frowns and lunges for his sword. "Get out of here, young lady," he
looks at Yoseiko, "I don't want you to get hurt!"
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " Touga, stop it! o/~"
Yoseiko 's eyes have never been quite so big. Her fist is pressed up
tightly against her chin. "......" . o O ( Oh Kami.. Genbu.. ) She
doesn't move.
Kan'ichi goes "If you use the sword, you'll die. Think it over..."
Musei attempts to pass the bird over to Yoseiko. Yuki says, "I won't let
you get yourself killed, Touga. Stop it! o/~"
Touga says "And if I do not fight you, I have proven that I do not stand
for what I believe."
Rosuto snaps out of it, moving forward a step, fingers curled into a
fist. "Kiryuu-san, don't be a fool!"
Yoseiko barely blinks as she suddenly finds herself with Musei's bird on
her free hand. She's still watching Touga and Kan'ichi.
Kan'ichi closes his eyes, though you probably can't see it behind his
shades. "Do what you must, then. I shall do the same." He waits for
Touga to pick up the sword.
Musei puts a hand on Touga's arm, and shakes her head. . o O ( Don't do
this! )
Touga turns his back on Kan'ichi and storms to the other side of the
room, grabbing his sword and scabbard.
Musei is clearly upset, her hands balled into fists. . o O ( This is
stupid!!! )
Rosuto's jaw stays slack for a moment or two longer, then closes with a
click of teeth, clenching. . o O ( Bakayaro! He wants to be a damned
martyr! )
Ayanojou . o O ( I was right... he does have a deathwish. )
Kan'ichi . o O ( Oh? Is he going to attack? And what about the Seiryuu? )
Touga sheaths the sword and throws it at Kan'ichi's feet. "Fine, you
win!"
Ayanojou slaps his forehead. "Touga-san!" @_@ "..." . o O ( I can't
figure him out... )
Kan'ichi opens his eyes, his arms never leaving their position crossed
before him. . o O (Win? There *are* no winners. Only life or death,
here.)
Musei . o O ( Ah....! Chairs! )
Musei looks around for empty chairs...
Yuki chimes, "Chairs! o/~"
Touga walks over to Kan'ichi and leans over, whispering in his ear.
Yoseiko blinks at the bird o.o
Ayanojou asks "Chairs?"
Rosuto stares and sweatbeads. . o O ( What.. the... ) "Chairs?" he
echoes thirdly, blinking around.
Kan'ichi tenses, not quite trusting Touga, but not terribly worried
either.
Musei pulls a couple of bean bags out the door, without another word.
Musei goes out the front door. /[O]/
Musei has left.
Yoseiko slowly pulls herself back from whatever state she'd been in,
blinking again. o O ( Is it over? o.o; )
Kan'ichi frowns, his face showing expression. "If that's all you're
afraid of, go ahead and attack. If you feel badly that I don't have a
weapon, just use your hands..."
Touga smiles and reals back with his fist, bringing it down on where
Kan'ichi's head is.
Ayanojou o.o;
Ayanojou >.< "What's going on?!"
Kan'ichi steps back quickly and brings up an arm, attacking with his
power. An ice snake darts from his extended hand, aimed at Touga's
legs.
Touga tries to dodge but gets hit in the legs, he falls. "Curse you you
Turtle loving bastard!"
Ayanojou O.O;;; . o O ( Mahou.... ) He blinks... and says not a word.
Rosuto's eyes narrow faintly, a frown appearing. He shies forward, then
back again, indecisive. . o O ( Perhaps you should have kept your
sword, Touga-san. )
Touga shouts "Curse you turtle loving bastards!"
The snake bites in, but not deeply... instead, it clings to the flesh,
pumping icy venom into Touga. Your legs will numb and fail you first.
Touga falls, grabbing his sword. "Fine, kill me if you wish! At least I
died knowing I stood up for what i believe in!"
Kan'ichi shakes his head... but he leaves the snake attached and pours
power into it. He steps back out of range of Touga's sword,
concentrating on encasing Touga's legs with enough ice to incapacitate
him.
( A... damned.. martyr...! ) O o . Rosuto darts forward again, snapping,
"Stop it, both of you! This is juvenile!"
Touga snarls at Rosuto. "You get back! This is between the two of us!"
Yoseiko sits down where she is with all this, eyes wide as her hand
tightens in its place against her chin. o O ( Iie..! )
Touga . o O ( Now, knock me out and make sure everyone leaves! Please
understand my intentions here! )
Musei comes in through the main entrance.
Musei has arrived.
Musei's eyes widen at the scene. She grits her teeth, tears peeking out
from her eyes. . o O ( Bakaaaaa!! )
Touga is lying on the floor, sword in hand, his legs encased in ice. He
has a look of hate on his face, directed at Kan=ichi.
Kan'ichi looks over at Yoseiko finally... and drops his hand, cancelling
the ice-snake. The numbness and ice remain though. "I don't kill
because of a person standing up for what he believes... misguided
though you may be. If you can get free, go ahead. Come after any of us,
and I'll finish you."
Touga . o O ( Thank you you wonderful sieshi you! )
Musei ...just blinks.
Rosuto's fingers dive into his pocket, closing around Shin. Immediately
his symbol glows a dull blue, unseen to those around him, but his steps
halt as the ice-serpent vanishes, his expression incredulous.
Touga falls unconcious.
Rosuto . o O ( I wish they'd decide, Seiryuu take their eyes! This is
getting ... /irritating/! )
Kan'ichi turns his attention to Rosuto, drawn by the flicker of chi.
"Anything to add, Seiryuu?"
Rosuto stares at Touga as he passes out, his lips curling back from his
teeth. Without returning Kan'ichi's glance, he snaps lowly, "Only that
this appears to be an utter waste of my time." . o O ( ..bakayaro!.. )
Kan'ichi goes "On that, we can agree. There's nothing more I need to do
here... Musei-san, you'd better stay and help your friend. Maybe
convince him not to come after us. I mean it... next time I won't hold
back."
Musei holds out her hand, to which Yuki-chan flies, and lands.
Touga lies there, he looks badly hurt.
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I understand. o/~"
Rosuto moves forward again, fingers releasing Shin, crouching beside
Touga. Nose wrinkling faintly, he looks from him to Kan'ichi, then to
Musei, silent.
Kan'ichi says "We'd best leave, Yoseiko-sama."
Yoseiko nods jerkily from her awkward seating on the floor. "H-hai.."
Musei walks over to Touga's side, and sits down, frowning.
Touga opens one eyes, that only Musei can see and, well, winks, kind of.
Musei . o O ( Baka.. )
Kan'ichi goes out the front door. /[O]/
Kan'ichi has left.
Yoseiko goes out the front door. /[O]/
Yoseiko has left.
Rosuto watches the Genbu take their leave, then looks back, missing the
shared exchange between the two entirely, "Well," he comments acidly.
"That was interesting. No massive property damage though, so I guess
that's a plus."
Touga lies there, very still, he is breathing though.
Ayanojou sweatbeads. "How bad is he?" He starts to the bathroom.
"Where's the damn heatingpad?" can be heard, from within.
Touga . o O ( Please forgive me Rosuto, I can't have very many people
know about this. )
Rosuto peers at Touga critically, an eyebrow slowly raising. "He's
breathing," he muses quietly.... and pokes his cheek with a long
fingernail harshly. "And not a very good actor. Quit it, Kiryuu-san.
Your lack of talent is starting to get on my nerves."
Touga opens his eyes. "Then leave," he kind of hisses, "go away. Talk
about what an idiot I am as you go. Please, just play along."
Rosuto blinks and peers, drawing his hand back. "Na-?"
Ayanojou comes back, arms hefting medical supplies and a heating pad.
Touga screams at the tow seishi as he comes to. "Get your beastly hands
off of me you pawns! I don't need your help."
Musei 9.9
Rosuto peers for a long moment, then looks up as Ayanojou comes in. He
glances back sharply at Touga, brows rising, then a faint smirk curls
upon his lips before it disappears in a blink. The Seiryuu Seishi rises
abruptly to his feet, looking annoyed. "Ch'! Bakayaro."
Touga . o O ( Thank you Rosuto! )
Ayanojou . o O ( I've seen better actors in soap operas.... x.x )
Ayanojou plugs the heating pad into a socket, and slaps it onto Touga's
legs. "Never a dull moment with you around, Touga-san."
Rosuto runs a hand through his hair, smoothening it back, and watches
Ayanojou with lips curled in distaste. "That is an understatement.
You're lucky he didn't take your legs right off, you fool."
Ayanojou mutters, "Reminds me of a British comedy I saw once.."
Touga says "I know. And let me tell you that i came up with this plan at
the last minute, when I saw that he didn't want to just kill me.
Kan'ichi is in on this now as well. I think I have successfully difused
the Genbu situation."
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " Laurel-san is outside, as is
Yukie-san... well, they were. o/~"
Rosuto's gaze flickers to Musei. "No longer?"
Touga says "Let them in, tell them i have been attacked, say no more. I
knwo Laurel-san will know I am lying but, she will trust me in other
ways."
Musei looks to Yuki, who says, " I don't know. The others went outside,
so maybe they are, still, or not. o/~"
Ayanojou rolls his eyes. "Gah. Is that what the chairs were for?" He
gets up and walks to the door. He pauses, giving a light frown.
Ayanojou goes out the front door. /[O]/
Ayanojou has left.
Rosuto crosses his arms, hugging them to his chest. He follows Ayanojou
with his eyes, then looks back to Touga and Musei, brows lifted
silently.
Touga . o O ( God I hope this works. )
Musei is staring at the window, with a frown. . o O ( Grumph.
Headache... I should have known... Gr.. Touga-san... you go about
things...so........urgh. )
Touga says "Please, leave me, what comes next is less than pleasant."
Musei leans down to Touga's ear, to whisper.
"...." Rosuto raises a brow slowly. Yet, instead of asking, he just
nods. "Oyasumi nasai," he replies smoothly, rolling his shoulders back
before heading to the door.
You step out of the apartment.
Ninth Floor -- Koei Building
The floor is carpeted in a dark grey colour that seems to manage
to avoid most staining problems. The walls are a somber off-white and
lights are spaced evenly through the entire hallway to create pools of
light. To either side of you are apartment doors, set in a staggered
pattern.

Yukie deadpans... "Probably /was/ eating..."
Rosuto appears in the doorway leading to the Kiryuu apartment,
expression impassive, if slightly annoyed.
Yukie pouts slighty... hoooboy... "Drat.... wanted to know more about
his current incarnation..."
Laurel looks at the new arrival... Hm. What an odd gathering.
*** Laurel is looking at you. ***
*** Yukie is looking at you. ***
Yukie . o O ( @whee Tomo-san.... x.x )
Rosuto's gaze flickers to each face, recognizing some, but not all. He
hmps to himself mildly -- . o O ( This floor seems to be rather ...
popular this evening. ) -- and sidesteps the crowd, moving towards the
stairs.
You head down the stairs
