Shirobane Ave and Juuban Ave

To the east, built under an underpass is the Ichinobashi Park. A
place where shoppers can take a break from walking the long route of
the shopping district. To the west is the distinctive kiosk that loudly
proclames the existance of the Juuban Shopping District which boasts of
having nearly any item that you could want. One building in the area
lists it's tenants as a cram school, a drafting company and the
 Celestial Millennia Tokyo Office.

Nakago is walking along the street, the cold weather apparantly not
bothering him or hampering him much.

Your senses may pick up the somewhat familiar flicker of chi nearby.
Rosuto flickers into view a little ways behind you, hands in pockets,
his form dusted with snow. "Ah. There you are."

Nakago looks back over his shoulder. "Rosuto."

"Krieg-san." Rosuto dips his chin in a nod to you, taking a step
forward. A faint, dry smile shapes his lips. "You're a hard man to
 find, it seems."

Nakago looks towards Rosuto cooly, turning fully around. "It is Nakago
now. The businessman is gone with his weak ambitions."

Rosuto stops, taken aback for a moment. "I ... see." He draws himself
up, recovering with a glance around. Finding the snow-covered streets
deserted for the most part, he takes another step forward. "I need to
 speak with you then, Nakago-sama."

Nakago nods.

He seems to take that as a cue to close the distance between you and
him, and does so with a few well-placed strides. Rosuto's brown-gold
eyes search your face for any hint of reaction as he elaborates: "On
 the Zodiac. And Soi."

Nakago says "Go on."

Rosuto hesitates. "How much do you know about the Zodiac, Nakago-sama?"

Nakago says "I only knew what I was told. I only met a Zodiac Seishi
 once."

Rosuto nods. "Anou.. I have not met any, so I hope my information is not
... outdated." His gaze drops some, then looks up again through
half-lidded eyes. "They leave a mark, a blackness on one's chi aura. It
indicates corruption, though I'm not certain what kind."

Nakago says "One of them has the ability to contaminate chi."

"I... Yes." A faint frown appears on Rosuto's face. He states
point-blank, "You know this already then."

Nakago nods. "She was at the dance the other day."

Rosuto hmps softly, a cloud of condensed air appearing briefly where his
 breath escapes. "She was?"

Nakago nods. "I believe she was wearing a slim black dress."

"...." Rosuto is silent a moment, recalling the attendants at the
masquerade. . o O ( Hm.. She must have been that woman who spoke to me
outside? ) He clears his throat, folding his hands behind his back.
"Then I'll move on... ah." He looks around, then back at you, brows
 rising.
Rosuto's tone is lowered some. "Aren't you cold, Nakago-sama?" Funny how
the honourific has already been attached to your name. "Perhaps we
could speak somewhere where we won't get frostbite?"

Nakago says "If you consider it more comfortable."

Rosuto tilts his head slightly, studying you. Then he nods. "If you
don't mind, I would." He smiles faintly. "As pretty as snow can be, I'm
not in the mood to wake up sneezing tomorrow morning."

Nakago nods.

Rosuto hesitates, then indicates that you follow him. Despite himself,
he takes the lead, expecting that you'll follow since you didn't state
 otherwise.

You head towards the Juuban Shopping district.

Nakago has arrived.

You head furthur down the shopping district.

Juuban Shopping District

The west side of the Juuban Shopping District is no less busy that
the east side. In the area is a bookstore and a small taiyaki stand
from which enticing odors waft. The street is extremely busy and filled
with cars from people hurrying about to get their errands done.

When a familiar, slightly run-down building catches his notice, he hesitates, then heads in that direction. He moves inside, holding the door open for you. You head inside the theatre. First Floor -- Douwa Theatre(#1404RM) Douwa Theatre -- Fairy Tale Theatre -- doesn't quite live up to its name, far from a fairy tale-esque theatre, but nor is it an eyesore. It has only two stories, one for the lobby and theatre itself, and another for storage space where unused costumes, props, and other such things are kept. The floor is covered with a dark red carpet, clean and always vacuumed. Posters, some glossy and printed, and some obviously handmade, decorate the walls, which are otherwise nondescript. A bulletin board to the right advertises upcoming productions and rehearsal schedules. Farther inside is the theatre itself, marked by a raised stage that is broad, but somewhat small, restricting the performer's actions. Six or seven rows of benches provide a place for the audience to sit. The first two rows are padded with cushions, the rest akin to picnic benches. A handful of fold-up chairs is often set off to the side within easy reach, in case of a full house. It's difficult to ever find Douwa Theatre completely empty, even in between productions and after closing. There's always a rehearsal going on, or a lone actor or dancer practicing by themselves onstage, filling the empty building with the sound of their narrative. Good, Nobuyuki-san's not in today. He draws in a slow breath, organizing his thoughts. "I heard about what happened between you and Karaino-san." Nakago nods. "Word travels fast." "Especially when the result is six inches of snow or more," Rosuto adds ruefully, a touch of dry humor to his voice. He shakes his head, folding his hands behind his back. "Kri.. Nakago-sama, I don't profess to remember everything, but what I do prompts me to ask you a question." Nakago asks "Yes?" His face is a mask. Even if he were wearing makeup, Hensou Rosuto's emotions could not be more well-hidden. "Do you think your decision was wise?" Nakago says "For the moment. She is too much devoted to the Suzaku Seishi." "The rejection... it may push her away from you and more deeply into them," Rosuto points out quietly. Nakago cannot say his true intention to Rosuto.. who knows what'll happen. "Perhaps." Rosuto is silent for a while, then draws in a slow breath, his chin lifting. "It has always been my opinion that loyalty is worth more than love, Nakago-sama. Except in Soi's case, where the two are intertwined." He hesitates, just slightly. "She loves you. I heard her say it. And she is a woman, so she places much into those words. But as fickle as she is, losing her may be a price we won't be happy to pay." Nakago asks "You wish for me to go back to her?" Nakago says "I constantly saw you constantly scowling as we were together." Rosuto blanches, but only for an instant. . o O ( ..... ) His gaze flits to the side, then back as he recovers, lips pursing. "I don't like her. But... perhaps, in this case, that would be advisable." Nakago says "I will take it into consideration. We will leave this as it is for now." Rosuto starts to release a breath audibly, but catches it. "As you wish," he replies carefully, brown-gold eyes shadowed. He pauses, then appends, "I won't take any more of your time..." Nakago nods. Rosuto hesitates. "Anou... Is there some way I can contact you if need be? Admittedly, wandering Tokyo in hopes of randomly running into you isn't exactly an inviting idea..." Nakago says "I have a cell phone that you can contact me by." he takes out a business card, handing it to Rosuto. After giving the card a wary look, Rosuto nods and accepts it, tucking it into his pocket. "I'd give you a card, but we don't have any," he says, tone a mix of wryness. "But the Douwa Theatre is listed; you can almost always find me here." Nakago nods. "I..." Some of his awkwardness spills out into his voice, slipping past his self-control. "If that is all, I... have some chores that need doing..." Nakago says "You may go." Rosuto says "Arigatou." With a bow, he moves to the side, then the door. His hand hesitates with it half-open, some frost-touched breeze slipping inside. "Take care, Nakago-sama." Rosuto then disappears outside quickly before a reply can be made. [end log]
