Log cast: Ayanojou, Rosuto, Cologne, Tenshi, Jun, Qing-hu, Laurel,
Alex, Morgana
Log note: This takes place directly after
'revelations-and-anxiety.txt'. Rosuto and Ayanojou decided to stop by
the Nekohanten, but...
-----
Ayanojou walks up to the cat statues and blinks at the sign. "Closed
for repairs?" A brow raises. Must have had a fight.
Rosuto moves up behind you, studying the sign with furrowed brows,
bemusement written across his face. "I wonder what happened."
Ayanojou goes "Hrmmm...." This can't be good. "I believe Mou-san goes
to the same school as Touga-san and Hato-san. She's one that knows
what's going on, now. And knowing her grandmother, it would have to
be something major to shut down the business, even for a day."
Rosuto wonders absently as to this 'Mou-san'. The purple-haired
waitress perhaps? He nods once, studying the sign for another moment
or two, then shifts his gaze back towards you, forming a mild,
unfazed expression. "Perhaps they ran out of noodles."
Ayanojou goes "I wish." Be careful what you wish for.... he did need
to buy more ramen, though, didn't he? Ayanojou perks a brow and
pushes his lips to oneside. "I want to know what happened."
Rosuto studies you, then shrugs. "Do you know where this 'Mou-san'
lives? Or her grandmother?" he inquires, golden eyes intent.
Ayanojou points to the restaurant, only to the second level. "Same
place. Different story."
Looking up, Rosuto nods, thinking out loud, "Like the theatre," before
glancing back to you, musing. "I suppose this means you can't just
knock on the door then, ne?"
Ayanojou hmmms. "It's worth a try." So... he does so. Wait. Wait.
Wait.
Rosuto folds his arms over his chest and tilts his head slightly to
the side, hiding his impatience. . o O ( With our luck, no one's
probably even home. )
Ayanojou gives out a frustrated sigh, "I don't thin---" He stops
talking as one of the doors opens with a creak, and a ghoul, er, old
woman's face peers out. "Hm. We're closed."
Ayanojou bows politely. "Mou-san. I noticed the sign on the door. What
happened?" He blinks and looks up.
Rosuto, after a delayed pause, bows as well, and remains silent, eyes
shifting between ghoul and youth.
The old crone stares back at the young man. "We're closed for repairs,
and will be for the next few days." Cologne gives a long look to
Rosuto, eyes slowly looking the man up and down, before noting, "Ask
Ayame-san what happened. She can tell you." Now just where in the
heck did that come from??
49.5F (9.7C) The clouds appear to be just sitting there. Currently,
partially cloudy with the winds remaining steady as it changes
direction (was W now NW).
Ayanojou blinks. "Aya-chan desu ne?" Yup. Seishi were involved.
Thought so. Cologne deadpans, "You're not deaf, son."
Rosuto gets a peculiar expression on his face. Whether it's because
seishi - or, more specifically, /Soi/ - were involved, or because he
just got a once-over from a 10,000 year old ghoul, remains to be
seen. "How wonderful," he comments dryly to himself, beneath his
breath.
Colonge takes the look over without batting one of those big eyes,
before she adds, "Hai. But the place is closed, until the repairs are
done."
Rosuto asks "How long should that take?"
Cologne notes, "A few days, as I said." They're both deaf are they?
Ayanojou nods, still bowed. "Arigatou gozaimasu, Mou-san." He gets
patpatted on the head by Cologne, her saucer eyes turning to n.n
"Nice boy." o.o "Now, go on. I have work to attend to." Ayanojou
sweatbeads.
Rosuto blinks faintly, arching an eyebrow, and just barely catches the
laugh in his hand in time.
Ayanojou nods. o.o; "Good day." The crone nods and enters the
restaurant, shutting the door behind her. *THUD*
Ayanojou muses, "Must have been a fight, I think.." Though, with
Ayame, who can tell... Ahem.
"K.. Kkk..." The laugh escapes, followed by another. Golden eyes
bright with amusement, Rosuto trains them on Ayanojou, trying so hard
to muffle his snickers with his hand. "Good boy," he echoes the old
woman, as if not hearing his redhaired companion. "When do you get
your doggie biscuit?"
Jun comes from the west.
Jun has arrived.
Tenshi comes from the west.
Tenshi has arrived.
Ayanojou =.=; He doesn't train the glare at Rosuto, really... more at
one of the cat statues. Smirk, and it's over. "Well.. I don't know
about you, but I'd like to find out what happened." Curiosity
abounds... just as well, too... The fact that Ayame was mentioned
would worry him, and does, though he doesn't let on.
Tenshi walsk behind Jun shyly.
Jun wanders in, Tenshi's hand in hers. She pauses at the resturant,
and spies the sign. "Somehow, why am I not amazed at that." She
remembers, after Tenshi was deep asleep, coming out here... and the
chaos that ensused. "I hope Genji-san is okay," she murmurs to
herself, after a moment.
*** Tenshi is looking at you. ***
Rosuto and Ayanojou are standing in front of the Nekohanten, which
bears a 'Closed For Repairs' sign. The former is laughing, though
making an effort to suppress it with his hand, and his brown-gold ey
es glitter where they're focused on his redhaired companion. After
regaining some amount of composure, he says, "Well, it shouldn't be
very hard to get a hold of Karaino-san, ne?"
[Tenshi]
You look upon a boy of no more than 14 years of age. He has pale
golden hair that is short on on side, fluffing lightly, and longer on
the other, with gentle curls. It's halo of softness frames a sweet
face with large, expressive eyes of shimmering sunset gold. He wears
a white buttondown shirt with the collar neatly buttoned. Brown
slacks are held on with matching brown suspenders, and he has black
loafers on his feet. His hands look slender and delicate, and in
fact, he looks like a very delicate boy all together. Innocence
shines in his face, but in his eyes, you sense fear and sadness as
well. When he catches your gaze, he blinks at you widely a moment,
then hides his face shyly.
Carrying:
a dirty stuffed bunny toy
Tenshi has an ugly bruise on his left cheek. Someone or something hit
him him there _hard_.
[OOC NOTE: If you are magically aware, you would notice that Tenshi is
_full_ of chi. He practically _glows_, he has so much. He's a walking
chi battery. ]
Tenshi blinks at you shyly and then tries to hide his face, seeming a
bit scared.
[Jun]
Hardly ordinary, this young woman's features and form bespeak of
a life of doing things her own way. Light brown locks have been shorn
into a wavy pageboy cut, the length of the feathery mass stops just
short of her shoulders. The bangs fall into light green eyes and
cover arched brows -- her heart-shaped face also holds a pert nose
and thin lips, though intelligence ranges within that canvas, as well
as beauty. Short, though slender, working out keeps her body in
tip-top shape.
Pastels and stripes galore rests on Jun's frame; the former
being claimed in a pink crop top, the the scoop neck and long-sleeve
cuffs borded in powder blue. On the middle of the shirt rests a white
block, a black heart drawn within. Stomach is left bare, as green,
red, and yellow stripes wrap about her lower half in the form of a
mirco miniskirt, a large black belt keeping it low upon her hips.
Legs are unabashedly shown, before a pair of hiking boots complete
the outfit.
Ayanojou goes "I wouldn't think so... We could check her apartment."
He hopes she doesn't have any... customers. . o O ( .....I'm going to
have to ask her to move in, or something. She shouldn't have to live
like that. )
Tenshi peeks at the two people, blinking.
Jun takes a closer step to the Nekohanten, before looking between the
two men standing there. "Gomennasai... do you know when this place
will be open again?" She peeks, before mentioning, "I didn't think
it'd be that bad..." What would be?
Ayanojou feels someone watching him. He turns around and blinks at the
young boy. "Nani?" Oooh, weirdo. He looks up to Jun... "A few days,
Mou-san said." He raises a brow. "You were there?"
(OOC) Ayanojou is the weirdo, btw. ^_~
Jun hmms, before nodding quickly. "Hai. It looked like a fight. Odd
thing though... they were glowing." Gotta stop that visible chi thing
in public. "I didn't get to see much... I was kinda dragged out
before it happened." Good thing she didn't have her ward with her
last night.
Rosuto's nose wrinkles faintly at the thought, then blinks himself,
echoing Ayanojou's movement to turn and look at the two newcomers. He
studies the two -- perhaps the young man a few moments longer than he
should -- before letting his eyes drift back to his companion,
suddenly silent. Wouldn't want to be social now, would we?
[Net crapped out on me here. Lost some stuff. -_-; ]
Ayanojou . o O ( Genbu and Zodiac.... Oh dear. )
Tenshi peers at Rosuto and then hides behind Jun, scared of him. He
cuddles his bunny toy tightly.
Ayanojou rethinks that... Traces of green... Tomite. Well, then... He
looks back to Jun. "It must have been frightful for you." Matter of
factly said, and terribly calm.
Jun mentions, "You can say that again." A pause. "I wonder if
Genji-san's brother... nevermind. They must be okay, right? I didn't
hear anything in the news." She watched once she got home, and didn't
see to much out of the ordinary.
Rosuto watches Tenshi curiously for a moment, then almost lights up as
he watches the youth hide. His expression is reminiscent of a cat's
after finding a mouse to play with. Listening with half-an-ear to the
exchange between Ayanojou and Jun, he watches the youth intently, the
edges of his lips pricking upwards.
Tenshi peeks out again at Rosuto as if to see if he's still there, and
seeing that he is, trembles and hides again behind Jun.
"Nani...?" Oh. Jun peers behind her at Tenshi, before giving an
apologetic look to Rosuto. "Ano, Tenshi's usually shy around
strangers."
Ayanojou goes "I'm sure we'll know, soon." Genji's brother? Who's
Genji? "It still leaves us with an empty stomach..." He turns to
Rosuto. "Well, dare we go to McTonalds?" Ugh... but it is close.
Tenshi's own little tummy seems to rumble enough you can hear.
Rosuto gives Jun a mild smile, tearing his eyes away from Tenshi to
settle on her. "Aa. Daijoubu, daijoubu..." He manages to keep from
adding, I'm used to it. Instead his gaze shifts to Ayanojou, blinking
once before nodding. "Chicken ramen... Chicken Mcnuggets... it's sort
of the same, ne?"
Jun wonders, quietly, "Do you mind if we tag along? Oh. Shiatori Jun
desu." A sweeter grin, as she adds, "And this is Tenshi," he adds,
before mentioning, "Neither one of us have had time for food, in all
our running around."
Ayanojou . o O ( Swiss Family Robinson... joy. )
Ayanojou shrugs slightly, glancing back to Rosuto to answer.
Tenshi is completely silent, even keeping his movements quiet. He
seems easily spooked, and stays mostly hidden behind Jun, only
peeking out now and then. He cuddles a dirty bunny toy to him
tightly, and doesn't look all there.
Rosuto gets to answer? After he's found something new to frighten? Oh
dear. -_-; "Why not?" he replies cheerfully enough, though looking
back at Ayanojou, eyebrows arched as he searches his face for any
signs of reproach.
Jun maybe should've gone on her own. Maybe. "Well, we just needed the
way there.... I've never eaten there." Fast food, on this figure?
/Ha/. Not likely, as she looks between the two, her hand giving
Tenshi's a reassuring squeeze.
Ayanojou mutters. "Just hope the happymeals don't have wheeled toys."
Gah. x.x . o O ( That boy acts alot younger than he is. What's wrong
with him? )
Ayanojou says "It's west of here."
Rosuto is the perfect image of innocence. Really. Well, maybe his halo
is a wee bit tarnished. He casts Ayanojou an amused smirk and nudges
him with his elbow, shaking his head as he murmurs something lowly.
You whisper "Now, now... Antisocial comments are supposed to be /my/
forte." to Ayanojou.
Jun raises a brow at that, before commenting, "I... see." Was that a
bit of frost? Of course not. Just that overprotective nature coming
through. "Arigato, for the information." She didn't get a name, so
she doesn't add is, as she motions to Tenshi. "Come on, Tenshi-kun...
we should go now."
Ayanojou whispers "I take it you never had to babysit your third
cousin."
Ayanojou whispers something back to Rosuto, then waves politely to the
two.
Tenshi looks all too ready to go, eyes wide at Rosuto. He moves
quickly, nearly pulling Jun along behind him.
Jun heads west. /[W]/
Jun has left.
Tenshi heads west. /[W]/
Tenshi has left.
Rosuto looks a bit disappointed, eyes lingering after the two.
"Saa..." he complains mildly, then flashes Tenshi a smile, fingers
wiggling in a half-wave.
Rosuto then glances back at you, smile bright. "/I/," he adds, no
small amount of amusement in his voice, "never had any cousins. So
there."
Ayanojou chuckles lightly. "Touche." He seems quite content to see you
in bright spirits.
Rosuto's mood always seems to brighten, curiously, when he finds
someone to pick on. "No on the McTonalds then, ne?"
Ayanojou nods. "Hai. I think I have some alka seltzer with me." He
complains about the food, but still goes. Of course, most people do.
Ayanojou heads west. /[W]/
Ayanojou has left.
You head westwards.
Shirobane Ave and Juuban Ave
To the east, built under an underpass is the Ichinobashi Park. A
place where shoppers can take a break from walking the long route of
the shopping district. To the west is the distinctive kiosk that
loudly proclames the existance of the Juuban Shopping District which
boasts of having nearly any item that you could want. One building in
the area lists it's tenants as a cram school, a drafting company and
the Celestial Millennia Tokyo Office.

You see the life-sized likeness of the familiar orange-haired
red-noised clown standing next to the entrance, hand raised in
welcome. The place is spotlessly clean with a few potted plants set
about to give the place some color. The benches are rather
uninteresting wooden ones, bolted to the floor, as are the tables. Up
front is the counter with the cashiers and a menu overheadhangs
overhead for you to decide before it's your turn to order.

"No wonder I've never come here," Jun comments, looking at the
'clown'. "Geesh," she murmurs to herself, as she leads Tenshi into
one of the many lines.
Ayanojou walks into the establishment, along with Rosuto.
Much of the restaurant is staring at the three people laughing at a
table, or studiously ignoring them in proper Japanese fashion.
At least you're all walking into the middle of moments of hilarity, as
the three Zods at the table laugh it out. Qing-hu wipes at an eye,
gasping for breath before remarking, "How... about... how about that
shade of blue? I thinki it'd look marvy on him!"
Alex rounds off another burger (It's easily her eight)h), grinning
wildly.
Alex says "Oh, absolutely lovely, I'm sure.. Blue, righto."
Tenshi peers at the trio, blinking at them curiously, then hides
behind Jun again.
Rosuto follows, closing the door behind the two, and glances around
absently. His eyes momentarily cross the pair he and Ayanojou
encountered minutes ago, and he smirks just faintly. They did come
this way! How convienent.
Jun peers over to the loudness, before raising brows. "Never a dull
moment," she comments, before slowly inching her way to the front,
expression droll. Eyes roll, before she goes back to contemplating
the menu.
Ayanojou sweatbeads at the Zodiac table, before heading into line.
. o O ( Makeup? )
Morgana has arrived.
Ayanojou glances to the door and pales. . o O ( That's her... ) He
turns his head away, and orders his salad and shake.
Qing-hu is finally getting his breath back, gasping a few times as he
slows down in his laughing. Oh man. That hurt. At least he's in a
really good mood, now. Whether this is good or bad remains to be
seen, of course.
Morgana steps into the fast food joint. . o O ( There's something
fundamentally... ironic about Zodiacs converging in a fast food
restaurant... and Seishi converging at at chinese restaurant... )
Tenshi seems to have never been to a place like this and so is just
staring around at everything curiously. He doesn't even look up at
the menu.
Rosuto follows Ayanojou into line, tucking his hands into his pockets,
pulling his attention away from the young lady and her skittish
companion, his gold-brown eyes instead concentrating on the menu
before ordering his own meal of chicken nuggets and soda.
*** Laurel is looking at you. ***
Alex tries to swipe one of Qing's nuggets!
"That's right... three meals." Three supersized meals? The kid at the
counter just sweatbeads at Jun. "H -- hai!" he comments, before he
goes to get it, the girl paying for her meal before leading Tenshi
over to one of the tables.
Qing-hu didn't happen to be looking, either. *snag* "Hey!" He looks
over at Alex, peering at her. "I hope you're planning to pay for
that." he says with a grin. "Or at least sharing it."
Alex exclaims "Oh hell no! Mine now, slow boy."
Alex tosses the nugget into her mouth. ^-^
Ayanojou picks a table far from the Zodiacs as possible, which sits
the two near Jun and Tenshi. How convenient.
Laurel giggles even more. "Don't worry, Shao-hu... I'll share." She
holds up another Nugget.
Morgana wanders over to the zodiac table.... "I understand the Genbu
have been looking for me?"
Qing-hu actually toys with the idea of grabbing for it, then nahs.
He's still got some left. Qing-hu hmmphs at Alex, still trying not to
laugh, before he picks up another of his own nuggets and starts to
chew on it, looking around at the non-Zodiacs. And Morgana for a
moment. Hey.
Tenshi sits in his chair, blinking at Jun, then gently sets his bunny
toy on the table in front of him. He is very attentive to the toy,
making sure it's "comfortable" where it lays.
Rosuto smiles cheerfully, eyes flickering over at the pair's direction
before sliding into his seat. If he notices the Zodiacs' presence, he
gives no sign of it, nor does he comment on Ayanojou's choice of
seats. He just focuses on opening the mcnugget box.
Laurel looks up. Morgana. She's suddenly completely serious... for
about a second, before having to stifle another giggle.
Alex leans back, folding her arms behind her head. She spots Morgana
and nearly falls off her chair. "Oh! Ah, so I'm um, told." . o O
(Thank got I missed that one.)
Jun slides out fries and burgers, before she adds, "Eat up,
Tenshi-kun." For a moment, if one looked, she's a bit worried. But
that completely fades, as she grabs one of the fries herself. One
sandwich is kept -- she knows Tenshi can eat the rest. Easily.
Ayanojou eats his salad contemplatively, almost wishing they'd sit
near the Zods... He's curious... but he doesn't want to endanger
Rosuto. Aww, isn't that sweet? He sips on his milkshake and gives a
soft sigh.
Qing-hu shrugs at Morgana, breathing a few more times nice and deep.
"I jhaven't heard about anything like that yet. But it wouldn't
surprise me.:
Rosuto pokes at a nugget with a fingertip, as if expecting it to move,
then nibbles delicately, arching an eyebrow at his companion. "...ne?
Nani?" He straightens in his seat some, though leaning into one of
his hands, elbow on the table. "Daijoubu ka?"
Tenshi looks to Jun, and seeing her reassuring face, begins to chow
down. Man, can that boy eat! He wolfs down the first burger and
finishes his fries, drinking a full half of his soda. He then eats
the rest, slamming back the last of his soda with a satisfied and
cute *burp!*. He looks to Jun apologetically, and covers his mouth
with a napkin.
Morgana looks around where is Vitali when you need him?
Morgana picks up her Cellular and begins to dial.
Ayanojou glances from the Zodiacs to Rosuto. "Huh?" He blinks at
Rosuto, then answers a bit late, "Oh, hai... sure." He dances a piece
of lettuce with his chopsticks, around his plate.
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "Vitali?"
Laurel goes "If they're looking for you, why are you here? They aren't
likely to be friendly right now...", to Morgana. Yes, her giggling's
gone.
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "it's me." she looks around.
"Where are you? I need an update ASAP."
Jun smiles, even though she takes a bit more time in eating. She can't
simply pack away this much grease. But it is somewhat cheap, and it
seems that Tenshi liked it, so that's fine. "Feel better?" she
wonders to the younger boy.
Alex chokes back a laugh.. "I'll let them find me. I have many
thiiiiings to say to them" She wipes her forehead, trying not go back
into hysterics.
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "Give me the message."
Qing-hu nods at Alex, his face completely serious. "Like a few fashion
tips." The serious look falters, but... he's trying... HARD....
Rosuto blinks in the direction of the gathering - previously lively,
now mostly solemn - before returning his attention to Ayanojou,
eyebrow still arched. "... Aa. ..." He finishes off the nugget, then
leans forward, resting his weight on his elbows. Lowly, he says,
"Ano, Ayanojou. Just because the Chinese cat-food place was closed
didn't mean we had to hit fastfood. You sure you're all right?"
Laurel can't help it on that one. She starts giggling again...
Tenshi nodnods to Jun and peers at the loud three, looking somewhat
scared, but he says nothing, as always, and doesn't move.
Alex loses it. Not like she really had it to begin with. She starts
laughing helplessly, falling off her chair.
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "Is that it..." she nods,
"Thank you 'taili. I'll take it from here.""
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "waht is it?"
Ayanojou leans across the table and whispers to Rosuto.
Ayanojou whispers "Zodiacs... No... Morgana. I'm just a bit... edgy
right now, considering."
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "... right."
Qing-hu stumbles, faltering in his spot at the table, holding on so he
doesn't fall. He glances down towards Alex on the floor, and just
about loses it himself. Almost, but not quite. He doesn't want to
fall, too. He just lays his arm down and laughs into it instead.
Jun hmms faintly, before mentioning to Tenshi, "Stay right here,
alright?" She might as well get him an ice cream cone, for dessert.
At least that doesn't have grease. She returns a moment later,
offering it to him. "Here you go."
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "It can't be helped. I'll deal
with it now, Vitali."
Rosuto blink-blink-blinks and just barely resists the urge to turn his
head around, managing to keep his attention centered on his
companion. "Shimatta..." he murmurs after a moment, leaning back into
his chair, and shrugs. "So?"
Tenshi looks at it uncertainly. He then takes it and looks at Jun with
a look of (What am I supposed to do with this?)
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "There's not much point in
reasoning with them, Vitali."
Alex rubs at her eyes, picking herself up. Oof.
Ayanojou glances again, overhearing Morgana's words. . o O ( deal with
it...? Crap! ) He shrugs to Rosuto. "I guess you have a point."
You whisper "I told you, Ayanojou. Don't worry. I'll kill them before
they hurt you." to Ayanojou.
Alex . o O ( Whee, gotta act serious. Righto. )
Jun motions, as if to take a bite off the top. "Try it." she comments
to Tenshi, before waiting. No ice cream? At all? How... cruel.
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "Not in this case. Still, I
suppose it was worth the effort..."
Ayanojou smiles slightly at Rosuto.
Tenshi watches her and then turns to the cone. He then does as
instructed and bites it. He gives a grand shiver, eyes closing tight,
and then he mulls the coldness in his mouth around, seeming to like
it.!
(Directed into the phone) Morgana says "I will.." she smiles at
something. "Thanks for the thought."
Rosuto gives Ayanojou a faint smile, then mutters something under his
breath to himself, retrieving his soda. He takes a long sip, letting
his eyes wander, chancing across the Zodiacs, then moving past them,
towards Tenshi and Jun, studying them as well before finally looking
back at the youth across from him.
Morgana hangs up and disconnects the call.
Jun just beams, even as she watches the understanding finally hit.
Good. "All yours," she comments, finally breaking her attention away
from Tenshi to see what exactly is going on. She hadn't been paying
attention, before.
Alex sits up in her chair seriously. "Ah, what was that about?" She
asks Morgana.
Ayanojou sips his shake some more, not feeling up to flirtacious
tantrics like he usually would with this sort of meal. Eating his
salad in relative silence, he wanders across a nice subject that
won't bother certain issues. "Oh." He looks up. "I'm going to help
make some outfits for a designer I met a few days ago."
Morgana says "Vitali had the message from the Genbu," she replise
quietly.
Laurel is just as curious as Alex, but would probably break out
laughing again if she spoke. Or if someone said anything funny... or
looked crosseyed even.
Qing-hu arches his eyebrows. All of a sudden, he's interested too.
"What about?" he asks, his laughs quickly dying down.
Alex scowls. "Why'd they go to him with it? He didn't do anything to
them." She mutters, under her breath.
Tenshi laps at his icecream like a kitten at milk, eyes bright with
delight at the soft, sweet coldness. He then begins to devour it
whole, and in no time, has eaten all of it. His little lips are
covered with icecream and bits of cone, not having been too careful
about his manner of eating it.
Morgana says "They wanted me, but I was occupied. Vitali as the
second-most senior member, is considered second in command."
Rosuto, now aware of their presence, keeps half-an-ear on the
goings-on across the restaraunt, but it is hard to do when your
attention is focused elsewhere and there's almost a whole room
between you and them. His head tilts to Ayanojou, arching an eyebrow.
"Really? How so?"
Alex ohs. That makes sense. She takes a swig of her drink, falling
silent.
Laurel considers laughing at that one, but is sobering up quickly...
. o O (Vitali? Second in command? Oh Morgana, /please/ don't die on
us.)
Jun smiles, before she motions to her lips. "You missed a few bits."
She continues to grin, dispite the quietness that's happened on the
other side of the room.
Qing-hu nods thoughtfully, probably thinking much the same as Laurel
is. Or something vaguely similar, anyhow.
Tenshi tries to look down at his lips, his eyes crossing somewhat, and
then in a near silly fashion, licks his lips clean.
Morgana goes "At any rate... I think I need to go deal with some
matters."
Morgana goes "And Alex... please don't throw any more people into the
dumpster? Chaos isn't very happy."
Laurel blinkblinks.
Jun giggles softly, before nodding. "Haihai. Much better." Pause.
Dumpsters? She doesn't want to know. But she does get a good look at
the people across the room, before glancing back to Tenshi-san.
"Ready to go, or still hungry?"
Alex sweatbeads. "Yes ma'am." . o O (Tch.)
Qing-hu 's look goes even more serious at that, looking towards Alex
at that. Ooo. That is _not_ a good thing. His look is pretty serious
at that.
Rosuto catches /that/ comment, though not anything before or after it.
He sweatbeads, quirking a brow along at Ayanojou.
Morgana glances at the others, "I have matters to attend to ... please
excuse me/"
Morgana /[O]/
Morgana has left.
Alex 's good mood fades away, she folds her arms quietly over her
chest. . o O (*grumble*)
Laurel watches Morgana depart. "Well... that ruined a perfectly good
mood..."
Alex mumbles something under her breath. It's not easy to catch, but
it could be something in English.
Laurel . o O ( Hm. Empathicly boost our mood again? Naah... and I
don't /want/ to know what Alex just said... )
Qing-hu nods in agreement. "That's par for her, though." He leans in
at the table with Laurel and Alex again, though. His food's cold, but
he's half-forgotten about it for the moment. "What do you think about
that?"
Ayanojou leans over to whisper to Rosuto.
Ayanojou whispers "Alex dumped Miaka-san in, one day, and the other
day, Yoseiko-san... The Genbu broke their contract soonafter we found
Yoseiko."
Alex folds her arms and states plainly, "I think I ruined my
appetite."
Rosuto blinks faintly, brows furrowing as confusion scrawls across his
face. Miaka, obviously, is a name he recognizes, but the others? He
leans forward, returning the whisper.
You whisper "Who are Alex and Yoseiko-san?" to Ayanojou.
Laurel nods, entirely serious now. "Yeah... I /was/ hungry... Alex?
why don't we go somewhere, the three of us. There's something we need
to ask you about..."
Qing-hu pushes himself away from the table with a nod. "I think I'm
through with my food too." He leaves the last couple McSuzakuNuggets
there, finishing his soda at least.
Ayanojou goes "Anyways..." He starts... "He designed something for
Mou-san, actually." He makes a face at the thought of the elder woman
in that outfit... "The younger one, Zhiangpu. I'm going to sew it for
him." He shrugs a bit. "It's something to relieve stress." Sweatbead.
Ayanojou gapes a bit at Rosuto's whisper, but quickly recovers,
whispering back.
Rosuto's eyebrows slowly arch, amusement replacing the confusion
briefly. "You sew?"
Ayanojou whispers "Alex is a Zodiac. Yoseiko-san is Genbu no miko."
Rosuto nods after a moment, though looking miffed anyway at the gape.
No one said it was his job to know every seishi and Miko running
around Tokyo.
Ayanojou nods to Rosuto. "I thought you knew." He must have slipped
telling him. But, of course, how else would he get ahold of such an
odd looking magician's uniform?
Alex nods... " Sure, where to?" She stands, flipping her hat back on
her head.
Rosuto shrugs again, absently, and sips his soda, delicately-tipped
fingers tapping an erratic rhythm on the tabletop. "You learn
something new every day," he comments mildly.
Laurel shrugs. "Any place is good... the office, or maybe one of our
homes. Some place we won't be interrupted?"
Alex takes a moment to swipe one of Qing's nuggets. She just can't
help it! Her metabolism is equivalent to a hummingbird. A violent
hummingbird.
Ayanojou offers a look of apology to Rosuto, before looking at the
departing Zodiacs. . o O ( I think I should eat more home-cooked
meals.)
Laurel swipes another one of the nuggets. She's not hungry, honest...
;)
Qing-hu doesn't mind this time. He really has mostly lost his
appetite. "Hmm. The apartments? Or maybe the Mizuno Building?" His
food is vanishing. How sad!
Tenshi looks up at Jun and then leans against her, head leaned on her
arm.
Rosuto returns the apologetic look with a quirked brow, bemused. . o O
( He keeps looking at them. If it keeps it up, they'll notice
eventually. Hmph. ) "This is going to be a regular thing?" he
inquires mildly.
Qing-hu does notice, actually, and glances back at the figure for a
moment. Hmmm. Familiar face? Not one worth remembering, if it is,
because the glance only lasts a moment.
Ayanojou asks "Sewing? Quite possibly. It's a nice hobby at least." He
keeps his gaze to his companion, for now, but strains his ears to
overhear even a snippet of the Zodiac conversation, to put away for
later.
Rosuto nods absently, popping open the top of his drink and peering
inside, finding nothing but half-melted ice left inside. "Sou ka?
I'll have to draft you for our next play."
Ayanojou chuckles a bit. "I'd love to help out. Do you know what it's
planned to be?" He rolls his straw around in his shake to help mix it
a bit, before sipping again.
Laurel asks "The office then?" . o O (And beyond?)
Rosuto recaps his drink and drops it on the tray to be trashed later.
His attention turns to the half-empty box in front of him, musing
over whether or not he wants to finish them. "Not yet... Nobuyuki-san
still hasn't decided." There's a harsh implication in his tone that
hints that maybe he doesn't think much of the theatre's production
manager. "I'm trying to get him to consider a nice Chinese opera..
personal interest... but he's not very, ah, cooperative."
Jun murmurs, quietly, "C'mon, Tenshi. I should take you home now." she
commens, her arm reaching around to hug him for just a moment." At
least they won't have to pay for the meal. Just eat and go.
Ayanojou hrms... "Maybe he needs a few patrons to support the idea?"
He knows a few people, here or there, that might be interested...
Tenshi nods and leans into the hug.
Qing-hu nods. "That sounds like a good idea to me." He looks to Alex.
"Coming?"
Rosuto shrugs and gives Ayanojou a smile that's hardly kind. "Iie.
Nobuyuki-san just can be a stubborn bastard. Unfortunately, he's
annoyingly good at his job, or I would have killed him by now." He
pauses, then slides the box across the table, resting his chin on his
other hand. "Want one?"
Alex nods, following after. "Yep.."
Jun waits for a moment, before she looks around. "Ne, it's definately
time to go." She slowly moves, before getting to her feet.
Tenshi gets up to follow Jun.
Qing-hu heads out the door, along with the other two Zodiacs. Show's
over. Nothing else to see here, Folks!
Qing-hu /[O]/
Qing-hu has left.
Laurel /[O]/
Laurel has left.
Alex /[O]/
Alex has left.
Rosuto's gaze shifts lazily in Jun and Tenshi's direction once again,
watching them for a few moments, an eyebrow lifted.
There must be something severly wrong with Ayanojou, to overlook such
a statement, but he does and nods to Rosuto, before adding, "They got
cold, ne?" He grins and takes one anyway. It'd be rude to turn him
down, afterall.
Jun finishes, heedless of Rosuto's watching, before she adds, "Let's
get home...." She murmurs, mostly for her benefit, "I'm sure I've got
plenty of messages on the machine. What a day," she murmurs, before
giving the younger boy a smile, hand offered to Tenshi.
Tenshi takes Jun's hand and heads off quietly with her.
Rosuto's eyes drift back towards Ayanojou as the pair departs,
gold-brown eyes amused. "Aa. Can't trust fast food. Doesn't stay hot for very long."
Jun /[O]/
Jun has left.
Tenshi /[O]/
Tenshi has left.
Ayanojou smirks. "Maybe that's what's so fast about it." He grins and
winks, popping the nugget into his mouth. Yes, he should have dipped
it in something spicy to cover this taste. Mmm. x.x
Tenshi has arrived.
Jun has arrived.
Tenshi rushes back in, searching everywhere for something.
A snicker escapes at seeing Ayanojou's expression. Rosuto interlaces
his fingers, resting his chin overtop them. He starts to say
something, but stops, arching an eyebrow as the doors swing open,
announcing Tenshi's hurried return.
Jun rushes back in, looking around rather owlishly. "Tenshi-kun!" Oh
dear.... he only squeals for one thing, and she forgot completely
about it. For a moment, so did he. She retraces her steps, going back
to the table where they sat.
Tenshi spies his bunny and starts to run toward it.
Rosuto blinks once, then that smile reappears, brimming with terrible
mischief. In less than the span of two blinks, he's left the table
he's sharing with Ayanojou and standing beside the one Tenshi and Jun
occupied minutes ago, stooping to collect the precious bunny.
Tenshi stops suddenly as the scary man gets his bunny.
Jun is right behind Tenshi, before looking around. "It's... " Gone?
Not exactly. She didn't see Rosuto pick it up. Yet. "Tenshi-kun..."
Tenshi looks suddenly absolutely terrified.
Rosuto arches an eyebrow at the bunny curiously, then flicks a piece
of lint free from one of its ears. Hearing the patter of the boy's
footsteps, he looks up again, bunny in hand. Yellow eyes glitter at
Tenshi for a moment, offering a slow, silky smile, before looking up
to the young lady moments behind him, putting on his best 'Good
Samaritan' face. "Ano..."
Ayanojou opens his eyes, recovering from McNugget. He looks up and
sees Rosuto with the bunny. Hmm? He looks over to the others. "Forgot
something, did we?" . o O ( Carrying around a bunny. Gah! You'd think
he was Sae. 'Jeff-kun!' ) He avoids shivering.
Tenshi whispers pleadingly, "Bunny-chan..."
"Ano... oh good. You've found Bunny-chan." He's got her saying it at
this rate, as he mentions, "It's a very special toy...." Jun's brows
rise at the expression, before she adds, "But... we really need to be
going." As in, hand over the toy, so they can go, and stop scaring
her ward.
"Is this...?" Rosuto looks down at Tenshi and smiles warmly. "Saa. You
should be more careful with these things, ne?" With an elegant
movement, he offers the bunny to the boy, the other hand patting his
head briefly, though he pauses a moment to muse over the texture
before returning his hand back to his side.
Tenshi 's eyes go as wide as humanly possible at the touch, and he
very carefully reaches out for his bunny. When his hand touches it,
he snatches it back quickly, holding it to him protectively.
Ayanojou is, unfortunately, reminded of his own patpattedness and
frowns a moment. He chuckles slightly at the boy, . o O ( Having fun,
aren't you, Rosuto? ) Frankly, he'd rather see Sakura around. At
least she acts her age.
Jun nods slowly, her hands upon Tenshi's shoulders. "Arigato." Despite
all her manners, the one thing she isn't doing is making Tenshi say
thank you as well. But then again, actions speak vastly more for
themselves. "But... we should be going, ne?"
Rosuto seems more amused by Tenshi than anything else. His hands
empty, he puts them to use, arranging them with his arms over his
chest and taking a step back. "Of course," he replies, the silky
smile back on his face. "Do have a good day, mm?"
Tenshi seems paralyzed by Rosuto's eyes, tremblnig with fear and
unable to move.
Jun raises a brow at the smile. It reminds her of... she shivers,
expression going blank, then suddenly hard. "Oh, we will," she
comments, rather evenly, though something is... missing. We will," An
arm around Tenshi, she physically tuns him, before helping to lead
him out.
Ayanojou waves goodbye to SFR. ^^
(OOC) Tenshi says "SFR?"
(OOC) Ayanojou says "Swiss Family Robinson. ^^;"
Rosuto leans back slightly, almost sitting on the table behind him,
and watches the pair, head tilted slightly to the side. He does so
like scaring people, doesn't he.
Tenshi picks up a dirty stuffed bunny toy.
Tenshi follows Jun out, sparing frightened glances back to be sure the
scary man isn't following.
Jun leads, not even sending a look back. Nope. Otherwise, she'd show
someone just how unafriad she is. And that's a bad thing.
Jun /[O]/
Jun has left.
Tenshi /[O]/
Tenshi has left.
Ayanojou chuckles a bit, finishing his salad.
Rosuto's eyes flicker, turning them back towards you as he returns
back to the table. "Well. That was interesting."
Ayanojou nods, hmming. "Quite." No, he doesn't roll his eyes. He
doesn't have to. You hate yoyos? He hates stuffed animals... go
figure.
"Children," Rosuto says with a faint shrug of his shoulders, sliding
back into his seat, thuogh the meal looks pretty much done now.
"Frighteningly easy to, ah, frighten."
Ayanojou chuckles lightly. "Especially when they're so obvious about
it." He sounds slightly annoyed about the idea. He truly can't blame
you so much... Look at Takeo-kun. Half the fun was scaring him silly
while flirting.
54.1F (12.3C) The clouds appear to be clearing. Currently, clear with
the winds picking up (NE).
Rosuto interlaces his fingers, resting his chin on his knuckles, and
looks at Ayanojou, half-smiling. His words and tone, however, become
solemn. "So. Which one was Morgana?"
Ayanojou goes "The one on the phone, with red hair. She was dressed up
as Morticia at the masqerade." Flat toned. "She has... an interesting
power, from what I've heard." He nearly blanches.
Rosuto remembers her. She stopped and spoke to him outside the club,
and he recalls seeing her inside. So he nods once, mildly. "I see.
And this 'Alex'?"
Ayanojou goes "The boyish looking girl that ate so much. She likes to
stir things up... like seishi."
Rosuto's lips form an amused smile at that. "Comes with the
territory," he replies, still mildly, but with traces of mischief and
dry amusement. "After all, what's the use of having the Four Gods'
powers if we can't stir up trouble with them?"
Ayanojou says "You have a point.. though, I'm not sure I'd like to see
so many people get hurt." He shrugs. He wouldn't like to see people
get hurt, true enough. He just wants to know what's going on.
Rosuto shrugs lightly, indifferent, though he watches you curiously.
"People get hurt, one way or another. Nothing can avoid that."
Ayanojou says "I think, in this case, it's an issue of less is better
than more." He lightens the conversation by adding, in a straight
tone, "Besides, insurance rates would skyrocket."
Rosuto blinks at you, slowly, then /laughs/. "Hah!
Ayanojou quirks a small grin.
Rosuto shakes his head. "Heh heh... They would, at that, too." He
smirks. "I always knew morals were overrated."
Ayanojou goes "The world is an interesting place." No doubt. And he
surely has found out how much, recently... hooooooo..... He smiles,
though. "Your fellow seishi haven't told you much, have they?"
Ayanojou keeps his voice lowered, as they're in public.
Rosuto just gives a faint smile. "I've been... busy..." He said that
before, didn't he?
Ayanojou can't keep his curiosity down, now can he. He tilts his head,
in silence, the question lingering... until. "Theatre?" Oh drat, he's
guessing now... and is sure to be the target of play.
But Rosuto's smile remains faint, unwavering. As if painted on. "Among
other things."
Ayanojou nods and leaves it at that... He's patient. "What do you
think of the Zodiacs?" Temper the curiosity by changing it's course.
[What indeed? Unfortunately, we'll have to find out another time...
