MYSTERY LOVER

It's true, you don't know me, nor I you.
But time brings things to those who wait.

For eighteen year I've lived without you,
The same is true for you, without me.
Our lives have wandered through time and space,
The trail they've left is like no other.

The places I've been, the things I've seen,
My deepest thoughts of God's creation,
I would share them all with you.

The places you've been, the things you've seen,
Your deepest thoughts of God's creation,
All these things I would treasure.

Of all God's gifts, Life is most precious.
To share my life with yours, yours with mine,
Would be God's first gift to us both.

Atop the highest falls in the east,
Sitting, pondering, reaching out with mind,
Hoping to find you there, or you me.

While watching others explore in twos,
Experiences I've explored alone,
Visions of mind only guess their find.

Future adventures we will have
In classical music and hard rock,
At movies on silver screens and live acts,
In cruising armour on the street scene,
At backwoods camps and big city life.
