Some Thoughts on Terorists
And Their Innocent Victims

         I'm just one lone voice,
         Crying from the wilderness.
What possible difference can my words make?
         Great Prophets of Almighty God,
         Preached God's will for Peace.
         And still brother kills brother,
Practicing what the Evil One preaches.
What possible difference can my words make?

         Hebrews kill pagans.
         Moslems kill Hebrews.
         Christians kill Moslems.
         Atheists adjatates all.
         Crusades and jhads,
Killing in the name of God.
         Reduced to killing,
         For the sake of killing.
         When God only wanted Peace.
         Such a terrifing gleam,
         In the Evil One's eyes,
         Because of all the killing.

         Terrorist agents of evil plans,
         Brutally beating innocent young man,
While striking out at imaginary foe,
Because they were told to by everybody's foe.
The Evil One fills their mind and soul,
With lust for own and other's blood to flow.

         Helpless giant, strong and powerful
         Full of frustration and tears,
         Pited by friendly neighbors,
         Picked on by neighborhood brats,
         Ridiculed by everyone else.
         A sleeping dragon once awakened
         Those forty-odd years ago.
         Now a dragon burdened by
Power to let the missiles go.

         Cunning Cynical Communist Puppeters
Urging puppets to tickle the dragon's tail.
Promising puppets their own political tale.

And still the killing goes on.
         Political terrorist kills religious radical.
         Bombs explode and non-combatants suffer.
Iran sends its children off to die.
Russia sends its men off to kill.
         Shite Moslems disgrace their religion.
Crusades of old, now called jhads.
And still the killing goes on.

What difference can one lone man,
         Crying in the wilderness make?
         No one ever listens.
         Vietnam's still at war,
Because that's all it's known for forty years.
         Cambodia's holocaust went on,
         Just like the Jewish one,
         Un-noticed till too late.
         Who remembers Ida Amin's Uganda?
And what about China's culture revolution,
         Millions dead, but who cared?
It was Chile and Argentina in South America,
Now it's Hondoras and El Salvador in Central America.
         Terrorist and radicals, as always,
Blowing away people for no real reason.

How does one deal with irrational minds?
