Hiya, Lorena! I see you have problems with CMYK files (they didn't display on my screen at all). Is that what you start with or wind up with? You should be working with RGB, then at the end (after the image correction for web) do the CMYK conversion. ut I'll bet you already know that! Do you have Adobe Photoshop? Would it help? Need a copy? Oh...I don't criticise. But I love your photos!

Very nice stuff. Deep, rich blacks with nice contrast, to say nothing of great compositions. Your thumbnails loaded here rather slowly. You might check their file sizes. The SMALLER they are the better and the less impatient your viewer becomes. It was much better "paging" through them in full size than waiting for the thumbnails to load. Thanks for the chance to see your site, and for the portrait of you. Makes the ZS list that much less impersonal. ;-) Peace! And keep on seeing and making great photographs.

Hi Lorena; It's great to find someone with similar vision! Really enjoyed viewing your images. I'd have to agree with your comment on darkroom vs photoshop. I consider myself a purist and am getting pretty tired of seeing digital images clumped together with photography at the local(Detroit)shows. I am an artist/photographer/industrial designer/sculptor. I was class artist, went to Pratt, studied fine arts and a mixture of other stuff. I was curious to see what a search of my name would bring up under Yahoo. My full name came up with all porn sites. Though just my last name came up with companies and photographers.....so any way. I liked your work. Hang in there. You don't have to give up everything to go into commerial art. For me I learned alot of good techniques and met alot of people with similar back grounds. I make it point not to stay any where I don't like or that dosn t respect artist and creativity. People with imagination and talent are in great demand. Nice work. Do you know of pyro film developers? Check out Gordon Hutching's book; I've been using it for about a year and find it allows you to get the subtle tonal ranges that you seem to be going for more easily.
