Here's a good one for you. Are they sisters, cousins?
I don't remember who the kid on the left is!
She was in Micki's class in school. In the third grade,
I sent Tom to school to pick up the photo package
when it came in. The packets were just spread out on a
big table with one tiny photo showing through a hole, no names
on them. Tom took a quick look, grabbed a package and headed
for the cashier. A lady stopped him and asked, "Why did you
take my kid's pictures?" He did a double take, turned several
shades of red and went back to the table to get the right one.
He got a lot of teasing about that for a long time.
That's ok, because many years later, when Micki was in
Junior High School, I was working as a home-health-aide.
One day as I was travelling to my next patient's house, I saw
two girls going into a local drug store in the middle of the day.
Micki had skipped out of school a couple of times recently, so
I turned around, drove back to the store, walked into the store,
ran up and grabbed her by the shoulders and asked, "What
are you doing here? Why aren't you in school where you belong?"
A startled Jane C. turned around and said, "Mrs Lee, I am out
sick today." Yes, so why was she out wandering with another kid
when she was supposed to be home sick? That'll teach her to go
around looking like my kid! Heck, she even walked like her.

The girl on the left is Crystal Lynn, my grand daughter.
On the right is Michele Theresa Lee, her mother, in fifth grade.
