.pt music link: some notes

carlos bechegas: s.lacy.m.(d/26)

this piece evokes a somewhat more traditional structure of theme/impro/theme

small phrases of intense melodic complexity are lined methodically. some are interrogative, some affirmative, some tender, some angry, most are pure, deep, feeling.
the voice interplays in a splendid counterpoint, but one hardly feels it as a human voice, but rather as a new instrument with a strange and rich tone.

the calm concept of time and space is simply wonderful. enjoy it.
