So, who’s looking forward to the anniversary of Sept. 11? I know I am! They’re shutting down a bunch of exits going into DC, so traffic should be right hellish. So, when fiery death rains down on the DC area yet again, I’m sure I’ll be trapped in the apocalyptic city. I’ll try to take pictures.
Dirk brought home one of my birthday gifts yesterday: a new pet mouse. I didn’t tell you about the untimely demise of Mr. Nibbles….she was a good mouse, and actually, it probably wasn’t all that untimely. She lived a good long life for snake food. Dirk cried when she died; maybe I did too, a little. She was the friendliest mouse I’ve ever owned.
I haven’t named the new mouse yet. I think it’s male. It’s buff-colored with red eyes, which freaks me a little, because I thought only the albino ones had red eyes. But it’s cute, and I can already pick it up without it freaking out too badly. I wanted to name it Alien Sex Fiend, but Dirk said it wasn’t an appropriate name.
You know, he’s a little uptight.
I need decent image editing software. My dad gave me this adobe crap that only saves the images in its own format, so you can’t do anything with the images outside the program. I hate that shit. He and I need to have a talk about what we want to get out of our respective software.
I was watching the video from the show with Brent last night – I’m looking none too attractive in that video. At several points when the camera is focused on me, I can’t tell if it’s my gut or my boobs that are jiggling. I’m also in dire need of a haircut. However, if it’s possible, Aaron looks worse. Much, much worse. He skipped out on a final pre-show practice to punk himself up: gave himself a limp-dick green mohawk, put on eyeliner, a bunch of bracelets, and wore his best punk shirt. He looks like a loser on the video. With the lighting, his head looks like a big marshmallow with a green stripe down the center and eyeliner.
