"Angel"

there is a little star in the sky

you notice it, don't deny

you wanna go and say hello

but she's not in a clique, so she remains unknown

nobody bothers her

she just sits there with a book in hand

and she is the only one

not to understand

why no one comes and says "hi!"

she could be friendly

or cruel to the world

but how would you know?

you haven't said a word to that girl!

do you know how lonely she could be?

just sitting over there...

reading?

you want to make a move, but you can't

you feel you are not allowed to

cause you will become her

all left out and alone

now you know what she is feeling

from all the neglantance inside

when you go to say 'hello' to her

she has already bid 'goodbye'

"Angels Watching Over You & I"

Angel wings lifting high,

taking prayer to God for you and I.

Whispers of rustling around the throne.

angel thoughts how they've grown.

Always eager to protect and guard,

Watching over us like children, in the yard.

Angel voices soft and sweet,

Cast each prayer at our Savior's feet.

Is that a brush of an Angel's wing I feel?

While in prayer I reverently kneel.

Hovering right by my side,

Bringing God instructions, to gently guide.

These heavenly beings full of light,

Truly miracles in flight.

Angels, angels all around,

From here to heaven they abound.

Sit quietly and listen for them to speak

If it is wisdom you truly seek.

Once again I kneel and pray,

for friends and loved one in need today.

Angels to heaven quickly fly,

Watching over you and I.

"When an Angel gets her Wings"

This is in memory of my Grandma Muriel, because she was always there for me when I needed someone to love. I was very close to her when she died and I will never forget her face or her sweet embrace. She was the kind of person who everyone loved to be friends with and I will always be proud to have her as my Grandma. I have never really accepted she is gone, because I know someday I will get to hold her in my arms again. I loved her with all my heart and I will continue to love her to eternity and back. I was around 11 when I wrote this and now am 15 years old. I can still feel what pain her death brought to me. I am not afraid of dying anymore, because I know she'll be waiting for me at the gates of eternity. I love you Grandma!

When a woman leaves her children she promises

that she will love and watch over them. She waits

in a line to check into Heaven and when she gets

to the golden gates she throws her hankerchief in

a pail and soon she will sail into Heaven. She

walks up to Jesus and he reads her a passage from

the Bible, "Let the waters bring forth swarms of

living creatures and let the birds fly above the earth

and across the firmament of the Heavens." She was

granted her wings and she flew gracefully over the

Heavens, but she knew she must keep her promise to

her children. She looked down at them and they were

all crying with sadness. She sent them a rainbow to

remind them that a rainbow never ends and neither

does her love for them. And to this day she watches

over them and when she sees them hurting she sends a

rainbow to remind them of her undying love for them.

So when you see a rainbow in the sky think of me inside,

because my love for you will never end.
