THE HISTORY OF AUSTRALIA

The history of Australia is based on lies and half-truths. This land, a land of diversity and strength was for thousands of year's home to a unique and organised culture. Australia was taken from its indigenous people, the Aboriginals. These proud people existed as many small countries, much like Europe, each with its own language and traditions. We came, bringing our guns, our diseases and our white mans ways. We took, we killed and we waited. We waited for the heat to cool, the Aborigines to disappear…….

 We learnt in school that the first inhabitants were a primitive race that we saved and introduced to white  mans ways, Glory Glory Hallelujah…

Once you begin to feel uncertainty and break the mould, the doubt creeps in. When you start to look you easily find the barely concealed scars.

The time to act is now and save what can be saved and hope that as the future unfolds, that there is still time to learn from the Aboriginal culture. Take the first step,"Listen with your heart".
