Rating: PG-13
Notes: This is odd and I don't think it's very good. It's more of a writing exercise for me since I'm out of practice on Dru fic.
Disclaimer: Joss is the owner of the characters. You should know that by now.
I walk around at night, my Spike used to call it Waltzing in the Moonlight. Always said that I danced rather than walked. My poor pet is hurt again. I watch him. He doesn't know. He's with the Slayer again and I can feel the need of blood, the want of hers coursing through his body.
Nibble, nibble like a mouse, who's been nibbling at my house?
I would say that to him when he was at my breasts. He would smile and reply, "Spike." My Spike. My William, so very, very bloody.
I watch him. I watch him help the Slayer and her miserable band of do-gooders.
I watch them. I'm not nearly as insane as I make out. Stealthy and quiet, controlled and internal. That's what I am. Because I need them to think that I'm not in control of things, I pretend. Miss Edith whispers to me that I have to pretend so that those males will believe me incapable of power. I control
myself to control them.
Angel. My dear Daddy. In public I was his; in private he was mine. No one questioned the sounds that filtered out from behind that big closed door. They just assumed that those were my screams of pain, followed by my sobs of pleasure. I never let on that it was I that gave it to my sweet Angel. He
would smack me about and treat me like I was his slave in front of the others.
Oh, but in the bedroom. In the bedroom, it was I that held the whip.
Daddy had his kinks and Spike had his. Whips were my Daddy's most favorite things. What I couldn't do to his backside with bullwhip. Oh, he would moan and grow hard and beg for me to help him. I helped him as best I could, using the handle of my favorite mirror. Spike enjoyed ropes. Around his ankles,
around his wrists. His neck would be red from the burn of the rope, but he came all the same. I was his princess and he was my slave.
Spike looks at the Slayer like she'd make a fine meal. She wouldn't tie him up though. She'd make him do the work. My Angel told me. Told me what she was like in his bed. Stiff, unsure and shivery. Wouldn't even touch his little man. He laughed while he told me that he had to pry her little legs apart and how she jumped when he ran a finger along her quim. Wouldn't even let him put his tongue there.
My Spike can't hunt. I want to take him home with me and let him feed from me. Make him all better. Miss Edith says that I could. But there is this part of me that says no. I am not to take him home. He's been a bad boy and Mummies don't like bad boys. I like kittens who behave and remember who is in control.
But both my boys did not remember. Both my boys left me.
I admit the Chaos demon was a mistake, but I wasn't thinking clearly. Brazilian weather made my head all funny. He was gone quickly after Spike left. He had me on the bed and I twisted his antlers the wrong way. Oops. Didn't like him anyway. Made the bed all gooey and forgot that I was a princess.
The Slayers friends are all around my Spike. One is having her monthly and I just know my poor sweet Spike can smell it as clearly as I can. Clearer, for I am not even in the room with her. I can tell he knows because that ridge on his forehead is growing and he's fighting for control. Spike never did have much self-control. It's always about impulse. That's why I sometimes preferred my Daddy to him.
But he's controlling himself now and I so wish he wouldn't. I would love to see him feed again.
Once we hunted in the water. Dark and cold and mysterious. Legs and feet shivering as the clueless children stood in the lake. I don't know why they were there. It was night. Two people were together in the lake, coupling without the others knowing. They were the Slayer's age, I suppose. Their blood
tasted so nice, hormones and pheromones. Made me feel soft and Spike hard.
I will wait. One day they will leave my poor Spike all alone and I will go to him. Offer him his place and see if he'll take it. If not, I know where my Daddy is. I dreamt of him in pain, hot pokers sticking out of him, pale and moist, my Spike watching. I dreamt of him crying. I dreamt of him once more
laying across the bed, whip marks marring his backside as he begs me for kindness.
But Spike will take his place. He's been without me for so long. I can sense his need. Mummy will make him better. But until then, I must stay content with Waltzing in the Moonlight.
