DCRB leaves many options up to the cataloging agency. For instance, the institution will need to decide:

Whether to use DCRB full, minimum or core level

Original punctuation as well as prescribed punctuation(“Double punctuation”)?

Signature statements?

Form genre headings (655s)?

Graphics process/ technique of illustration?

Optional and/or local tracings for binders, printers, designers, illustrators, donors, previous owners, etc.?
