"Goodbye sometimes is perhaps the hardest word to say. So much longing yet not being able to be together. To me, this is a painting about letting go of anything that is elusive. Letting go is a funny notion, cos in life we learn about how we should never give up, that if we hold on just a little longer, we might get what we desire most. Yet, letting go... perhaps requires much much more strength than holding on. Let it go and move on from there." |
