![]() | Oh, hello everyone, and
welcome to Wise Words from the Guardian of Silence. Here is where I keep
the wise sayings, either funny or serious, of our favorite Senshi of Destruction!
(Just remember this isn't from the anime or the manga, it's just some cute
little phrases and sayings I made up or heard of.)
(Please dont take the little talking Hotaru on the side, for I worked hard making her!)

Some of my fav. Albert Einstein quotes:
1. "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
2. "I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
3. "When the solution is simple, God is answering."
4. "I want to know God's thoughts,..... the rest are details.."
5. "All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom."
6. "Scientific research is based on the idea that everything that takes place is determined by laws of nature, and therefore this holds for the action of people. For this reason, a research scientist will hardly be inclined to believe that events could be influenced by a prayer, i.e. by a wish addressed to a Supernatural Being." [Albert Einstein, 1936, responding to a child who wrote and asked if scientists pray. Source: "Albert Einstein: The Human Side", Edited by Helen Dukas and Banesh Hoffmann]
7. "The real problem is in the hearts and minds of men. It is easier to denature plutonium than to denature the evil spirit of man."
8. "Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts."
9. "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
10. "If A equals success, then the formula is: A=X+Y+Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut."
11. "Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value."
12. "Desire for approval and recognition is a healthy motive, but the desire to be acknowledged as better, stronger or more intelligent than a fellow being or fellow scholar easily leads to an excessively egoistic psychological adjustment, which may become in jurious for the individual and for the community. "
13. "The Important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity."
14. "The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. The walls are covered to the ceilings with books in many different tongues. The child knows that someone must have written these books. It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books---a mysterious order which it does not comprehend, but only dimly suspects."
15. "Only a life lived for others is a life worth while ."
