*When I wrote this I was thinking especially of those who were displaced after Katrina. Since that time we have seen what is has happened in Darfur and Burma. And yet, this piece really speaks to anyone, anyone at all, who has ever had to deal with oppression and displacement. What I've noticed the resilience of people in these situations. It is remarkable! the word is overused, but it is inspiring.
