Moon Eclipse
I first wanted to make a view of the earth with the moon on the foreground.
As almost always with the Bob Ross Technique, you end up with a different painting
(The so-called "happy accidents") I don't know if an earth eclipse looks like this or that it even exists
but the painting looks very nice. I worked very long on the moon foreground because I wanted it to be
very detailed. I still used the wet-on-wet technique but not the big brushed
(the "one hair brushes" Even Bob Ross' liner brush is too large for this)
Also the stars, the earth, the UFO (at the top), and the American flag are made using the traditional oil painting techniques.
As you will probably notice, my recent paintings don't look at all like the traditional "sky, mountain, water, bush" Bob Ross paintings. I think I master the Bob Ross Technique quit well and it's now time to move on to my own techniques. I also use acrylic paint in some of my recent paintings. (I made the UFO with acrylic paint to make a lot of detail)
