Super Weed: A Genetic Engineering Rap

You think I look weird, well listen to my rant-o
my name is Super Weed, I'm a product of Monsanto
the mega-corporation that tinkers with the seeds
to make expensive stuff that nobody needs
They mess with the chromosomes and splice up the genes
and put weird stuff in your corn and your beans
mix potatoes with tomatoes with bacteria and fish
well listen Monsanto: engineer this!

They got a hand in your pocket and the other on your plate
so you never really know just what it was you ate
it might be a mutant and it might be a freak
it might be a soybean with wings and a beak
it might be a carrot with ears like a mouse
it might be a potato bigger than a house.

Well they tell you it's harmless, but don't you believe it
cause that's a load of (beep), so tell 'em where to heave it!
They tell you not to worry, but that's just a lie
'cause I've seen the birds and the butterflies die.
It might be a virus that makes us all sick
Monsanto don't care, just as long as they get rich!

Say no to Monsanto, no to Monsanto, no to Monsanto, you!
Genetic Engineering is something that I'm fearing, no to Monsanto, yo!
