Comments: I like your page. It's an asset to the many other's which I have found. I enjoyed the quotes... The quotes he left for her, and she for him. Her final part in the whole story, was the most satisfying. They dyed for each other. I'll always wonder, wh life can't be mastered as though to play out some sort of novel. I'll always be wanting to live a Queen, or a peasant, though I never shall no doubt. Thank you for the journey, and the thoughts. From Michelle!
Comments: Exellent mix of quotes & pictures.A sophisticated website, very classy & artfully done. It creates a definate mood, one really senses the atmosphere of the book & film. Well done.
Comments: This is a very nice page. The film has a fantastic and enormous quality, it is epic romantice at it's best. I just wish that Kip had more screen time. If anyone wants to see more of the wonderful actor that played him - Naveen Andrews, please visit my ebsite.

Comments: You're site is great. Needless to say I love the film, and the book is etheral at times. Ondaatje is a master, and I'm so glad to be reading 'In the Skin of A lion' at school. Does anyone know why Ondaatje refered to Clara as Hana's 'mother' in 'The Engli h Patient', when she was Alice's daughter? Ralph is divine, and he has the coolest family in the world! I once met a museum curator who asked me if I thought Ralph was a 'good unit'! Email me
Comments: First of all Ralph Fiennes is my favorite actor and I love everything that even mentions his name. If only there were more RF websites... if only he was about 20 years younger...
Comments: I am a big Ralph fan. I thoroughly enjoy all of his performances, and am especially impressed at how well he can depict so many different characters. I am currently readin the "Enlish Patient" by Michael Ondaatje, and really appreciate his style of writi g. My favorite phrase in the book, "like a spray of milk". SPRAY OF MILK. I would have never come up with that phrase! Would you? God bless you. Put HIM first in life and you'll be one happy person. I know personally!

Comments: The book is intriguing, yet not at first glance, I think one must come to know what the tapestry looks like before following the narrative. The English Patient is beautiful, like a poem, difficult to comprehend when you are seventeen, but I look foward to a richer understanding as I mature. I like your Homepage Hana!

Comments: Although my interests in The English Patient are mostly on a literary level, it's good to see that there are enough people who still haven't turned last years Oscar winner into this year's. All the best.
Comments: Dear Hana/Becky, I love your homepage. I just completed reading the English Patient. I had started it two years earlier but found it very dull and left it after 10 pages. Recently got it as a gift. I had seen the movie so I gave it a second shot. The book is so rich!! Love it, love it, love it. Better than the movie in some ways....
Comments: i really enjoyed the english patient, but i was confused at the end of the book. did hana and kip stay together or were they just thinking of each other?

I listed my homepage above, and there you'll find links to my studio page, my TEP page, a Last of the Mohi ans page, and a Wizard of Oz page. Hope to talk to you again. Marcia |
Comments: I really enjoyed your site being a big Ondaatje fan too. I'm glad you included the Bookpages info also. I haven't figured out what the sequel should be. How about a prequel? Almasy and his International Sand Club exploring the desert. Katharine and Geoffrey in their Oxford days.
