A Brief History of my ART
I've been an artist all my life. As a child I got art supplies for every birthday and Christmas. As an adult I studied art at UCLA and in other artist's studios according to their expertise.Conceptually I paint ABOUT things rather than OF THINGS. So "Mt. ST. Helens" is about the eruption in 1980 at the same time I experienced arthritis for the first time.
"Becoming" is about the perculating of life on earth after the big bang and "Waves", as with most traditional art is self-explanatory.
Often my paintings contain faces that I didn't consciously put there. Sometimes they become the actual subject of the painting. See photoshop art.

This is an abstraction painted in oil
about life forming on earth.

Sometimes a painting, when taken into a computer for a while becomes something else. This was a watercolor somewhat altered by computer enhancement of a volcanic eruption, hot lava reaching into the sea.
in Hawaii when the lava flow met the sea, until it was born again in photoshop as a major nesting site on a ciff face in the virgin islands.
