Ugly Old Men
UGLY OLD-MEN--Claire

Their muscles are sinew,
their faces sag
their cheeks become Jowly.

Thin, frail,-- skeletal,
Fat hanging over their belts,
Precedeing them thru doorways.

Hair, thin -- nonexistent
Eyes, lost in sagging folds of flesh,

Legs, sinew, sticks, sans muscle

Teeth, too large for shrunken faces
and stained, or false.

Yuck
-UGLY.

No thankyou.

Johns response to ugly old men

UGLY OLD MEN

Once they were charmers,
Hair dark, a twinkle,a smile in the eye
These guys pushing walkers
down hospital corridors..

. Once they were sought after,
attentive to your every need.
charmed to make your aquaintance,
These guys pushing walkers

Life passing them by,
erasing their loved ones,
-- outliving, out-loved.
These guys pushing walkers
They shuffle along.

Ugly thoughts, dad. Sorry!
(Parodied after yours, Claire)
