 "Blue Christmas"

Granted, you didn't ask a lot of me.
I wanted to give you what you wanted,
Very much so! But - you didn't ask!
I mean, not much. You asked for
Nothing - but the truth.
Gosh! How hard can THAT be?

Only one thing that lies between us:
Not knowing whether to trust
Each other.
Sad, is it not?

When did we lose the
One thing that costs so very little but
Rips a hole in the fabric of a relationship?
Darning won't fix the whole cloth of truth, when torn.

Sad, but when a relationship goes sour because of lies this IS sad. Ask President Clinton...
