where those people who have been abused in this life
and have earned their wings by passing on to a newer reality.
A higher reality, where they now are finally free to fly
with the angels and dance in the heavens, as they sing
"I have survived and earned my wings of love and glory."
Dance on sweet spirits, you are missed and loved,
and did not sacrifice in vain.

Although this story may be sad, it cannot be ignored.
There are many people out there with the memories of loved ones that
have suffered abuse and have not survived it.
This Garden honours their memory,and their souls flight.
This is also the hardest page I have ever done.
This letter is a caption from the letter i received:
Lacie,
Do you have a special garden, where the souls of the butterflies
who didn't make it fly free???
A place where they can soar and feel the release,
a place where they can come home to and feel the love they so
desparately sought and needed when they were alive..
You see I am a survivor but my sister wasn't...
She lived and fought for most of it.
Not for herself but for her son...
She finally got her wings when she couldn't take it anymore
and she took her own life after years of abuse...
She might not have meant much to anyone else,
her story is probably no different to a thousand others
but to me and her family
hers was the only story like that.
I know your page is dedicated to survivors
which is a truly wonderful gesture
that is much appreciated.
I just feel those that didn't make it are just as deserving
and really in away it's those that didn't make it
that give some of us the strength to make it..
Forgive me if I have overlooked a place for these people,
if I haven't looked far enough but you see when Susan was a
little girl she always gave us "butterfly kisses"..
It just seemed so fitting.....
You mightn't know her but I am sure she has heard of you....

My best friend died in August of 1998.
She had a very hard life filled with torment and abuse.
Later on she finally found the Lord and
found that life even not always easy,
was tolerable to live with Him at her side.
She always had a laugh and a joke
even when things were bad for her.
I loved her dearly and not a day goes by
without her being missed.
I know she's happy where she is now,
but it doesn't stop the pain.
I would like to see her name in where butterflies are free.
For she is a very special butterfly.

Hi :)
Your website was sent to me from a friend.
Soon will be the anniversary of my little sister's murder.
She was a brave little soldier,
dying at age three at the hands of my mother.
It has been 27 years now but I remember like it was yesterday.
It would be an honor to see her name included here.
Our family never spoke of Carol Anne again
when she was gone because of HOW she died.
I carry her with me in silence.
