Greetings Mark, and thank you for your recent visit to the Lair. I thought I'd return the visit here.

I've read some of your writing (not all of it, but a bit of it) and I see some interesting beginnings--works that could be expanded into fuller "stories." I shall check back in the future to read a bit more, and watch for additions. *grin* In thinking of our guestbook questions up there, I suppose I should add this: Brahms, Bach (J.S.), Ravel, Faure, Debussy, Sarasate, and Kabalevsky are a few more musical favorites; I agree with you that Catcher in the Rye is not worth the paper it's printed on; < >Wuthering Heights I often recommend to writers on the sole basis of studying Heathcliff as a near-perfectly presented villain (I was once a writing instructor); and Raymond Carver wrote a story called "Cathedral" which is an absolute must-read for al serious writers.

I like the page, I love the stories and I think you should keep writing. Maybe one day the literate populace of the planet will be heading off to their nearest purveyor of fine books to buy the latest Mark Sexton novel to come out in hard back fo an ext rtionate amount of money...I like to think so. Also, who are the 41 people who have visited your page so far...not bad considering you've been setting it up. I think I'm going to appoint myself as your agent (for a 20% cut in profits of course) and appr ach a few publishers.
