The Key

There is a sadness in his heart
And an emptiness in his soul.
On a journey he will depart
Where no man can go.
He has been there before
And he shall go there again.
With life he has no repore,
To him death is no sin.
Blinded by a heart of fear
No beauty can he see.
Afraid to love that which he reveres
Never to be free.
Answers to life he cannot find
While the questions keep his mind a melee.
He could search for eternal time,
But the answers no one can say.
In life he is a prisoner,
Death holding the only key.
No where is the answer,
In life it can never be seen.
But his life keeps on going
Into a future cloudy and bleak.
The questions are not worth asking,
The answers we should not seek.
