A parasite is an organism that lives in or on another creature and feeds on it, and for centuries all living creatures have been harboring them. The mitochodria, a small microorganism responsible for the production of energy within cells, has been multplying and evolving since the dawn of human kind and are now ready to take over as the supreme species of the planet.
On Christmas Eve 1997,you, a rookie cop named Aya Brea, have the unfortunate experience of going through the date from hell. While attending an opera at New York's Carnegie Hall, everyone in the audience bursts into flames except for Aya and a mysterious woman standing center stage laughing. Uneffected by chaos surrounding her, Aya, charges the stage to confront Eve and to provide her with a critical review of her performance. What follows is a long journey through the darkest sections of New York city chasing Eve, defeating her minions, and saving the world from an unprecedented genetic catastrophe.
