THE CONCERT

The conductor gets out his baton,
For the audience has waited long.
He raises up his hands,
While the audience tries to take a glance.
He signals for beat one,
For the story has just now begun.
Early in the piece,
They all just play with ease.
After just a short time,
Comes a harder line.
The conductor does not yeild,
For he knows his band is like a sheild.
They've practiced for so long,
That to make an error is not wrong.
They all play with caution,
But giving up is not an option.
If the band suddenly decide to halt,
It is no the audiences' fault.
Instead they should just give an applause,
For if they don't, what will it cause?
The band must turn to the conductor,
For if they don't, what will rupter?
The conductor helps them out,
And they play it wonderful without a doubt.
Here comes the big finale.
Should it come soft or in a rally?
It is up for the band to decide,
The audience can just watch from the side.
Applaud they just might,
And help them win the awful fight.
It all ends peacefully.
Because of love? It might be.
