Long time ago in Japan, there was an assasin called Himuru Battoutsai. He used his art of sword to open the Meiji era and then disappeared. 10 years later, a swordman named Himuru Kenshin came to a small town. he met Kauru, who was trying to clean her name as the legandary Battousai claimed to be a student of her father. Kenshin reviewed his idendity and helped Kaoru to overcome the plot to rob her land.

     Since then Kenshin stayed with Kaoru and promised to help her. Then characters which became Kenshin's friend such as Yahiko, Sanosuke, Megumi, Misao, and many more appear one by one. The great challengers of Kenshin include Hajime, Aoshi and Soujirou. The extremely evil baddies will be Makuto Shishio.
