well
if you don't already know about me,
it
is a two letter word,
more
specifically a personal pronoun.
Would you like me to tell you about myself as well?
oh fine I guess I should tell you about the person that created this site.
My
name is Rainbough Bouchard Phillips (pronounced Rainbow Boo-shard fill-lips)
I
am seventeen, and I live in Woodstock Georgia. I am attending Woodstock
Highschool, presently beginning my senior year. I play mallet
percussion in marching band and have performed with a WGI independent world
class drumline/percussion ensemble called Pariah. -great title huh-
I have been writing poetry since I was four, seriously, and since I am
in a very artistic family I have been exposed to art most of life.
Eventually I will have an actual picture of myself up as well. Oh
and on a more traumatic note, I've been working at Mcdonald's for over
2 years. I know, that stings. this time next year I will be
going to college, really.
alright
enough of that, afterall you are here for poetry, not prose.
-well
thats what I thought you were thinking
don't be frightened that odd looking swamp-monster thing
is actually my self-portrait, it took me about six months to get
it to even resemble me, which is about all it does at this point.
I'd show you an actual photograph but I don't want to frighten any young children.
Just a little update, most of the above information was posted last August ('98) so in case anyone is at all interested: I'm now 18 as of 3/24/99, finishing my senior year at Woodstock H.S. I'm on leave of absence from Mcdonald's (so I can prepare for 2 AP exams), Pariah was cancelled this year, after we spent two months learning the music, (by the way we had great resources this year; great music, great instructors, new synthesizers, great musicians, a great show design, and even some promising sponsors) so what happened, I wish I knew, but I never really got an answer. Moving on though, I got accepted to UGA and finances permitting, I will be going there in August. Unfortunately finances are tedious at this point since my organizational skills resemble that of a ghoulish nightmare. Other than that my grades are decent, I'm trying to put together a literary magazine for my school, I'm still not driving, and I tend to go insane from restlessness on Saturday nights. Thats about all I have so tune in next week, or perhaps next semester when the world of Rainbough once again takes a dramatic, or perhaps foolish turn.
